A Convenient Encounter
“Yes, I love animals. Back at home, I sometimes go out in the woods just to see the little animals. Although, there might be some cooler ones in the Forbidden Forest. Unfortunate how we’re not allowed to go in there.” he added with a slight frown, although Noah was very happy. He was glad to have someone who understood him, who maybe even likes him.
After a bit of chatter and laughs, Noah was starting to consider asking her to be his girlfriend. It was harder than it looked, though. Noah and Kora were surrounded by people. They walked past some of his friends. They laughed and pointed but Noah wasn’t ashamed. He was actually thinking about not being their friends anymore for what they did. He felt a little frustrated but remembered he was with Kora, holding hands.This was the best moment of Noah’s life.
“Do you have any siblings?” he asked after a bit, checking his watch. It was an awkward question; it was stupid at the least.
“I’m an only child.” he said sadly. “I wish I had siblings. It’d be nice to have some company around my house.” Interpreting her confused face correctly, he continued “It’s very quiet back home. There’s not much to do, either. I usually read a lot. It’s my favorite thing to do. What’s your hobby?” he asked her, abandoning the previous question.
