𝒮ince Cecily had no particular place she wanted to see first, Amadea had suggested exploring. It seemed as though her suggestion had struck a chord with her Ravenclaw friend. She seemed to be less overwhelmed by the sheer size of the city now that she had gotten some rest. This was a good sign, Amadea thought. She hoped Cecily would feel more at home in the city as time went by. For now, though, the two girls had a solid plan: go explore the city.

Amadea, having lived in London her entire life, felt pretty at home in the city. She knew all of the best places to eat food, shop, and just hang out. After all, she needed to keep herself occupied somehow and exploring was one of the ways that she did so. Amadea led Cecily down the stairs from the apartment onto the crowded street. Making sure her friend was close behind, Amadea followed the path, down an alleyway and through another street until the two girls reached the outskirts of Hyde Park.

There was so much to do at the lake. There were obviously plenty of places for the two girls to walk around and enjoy the nice summer day, as well as benches where they could take breaks and enjoy the beautiful view of nature. In addition, the Serpentine lake provided them with the option to go boating or swim. Plus, the girls could gaze at the beautiful Diana Memorial Fountain. Amadea listed off all of these options to Cecily. She figured swimming would have to be saved for later, as the two girls had brought nothing besides themselves, but all of the other options seemed viable for the first adventure of the day. "We can do whichever you want," Amadea said to her friend.
