SUMMER CAMP '24, RUBBER DUCKY DAY A sigh escaped his lips as Tone thought about the tent he was currently staying in with all the rest of Mahoutokoro's students. For some reason all of their group had ended up together again. Well, not for some reason. Yami had chosen to sign them up for a tent style that was not exactly the type most students would have gone for, for various reasons. Tone didn't know what had possessed him to do this but suspected there was more to his choice than what met the eye. It couldn't have been as simple as his words, he knew Yami too well. Even though Tone tended to look forward to joining the summer camp each year, this year was a little stressful for him. He'd tried his hardest to obtain gold robes but had come just short of obtaining them. A fact that had made him a little depressed, not that anyone knew of this. He'd made sure to keep things under wraps. This summer would not be as carefree as others had been for him. But Tone intended on making amends with those he'd neglected.

Namely those who were close to him that Tone hadn't had much time for over the past year. But things had been a little awkward lately with some of his friends. Ever since the first night Tone had spent inside the weird carnival tent Yami had chosen for them. He'd thought one of the colder tents would have been a better choice, like Ice Fishing or whatever it was called. Yet another sigh escaped him as he idly wondered what it would be like if the organizers had shuffled them randomly together. Who would have ended up with who? Up until this point, it had been up to those involved as to what tent they got into. But what if they weren't given a choice in all of this?

What if the organizers did a blind draw? Would fate still put them together? Or would they end up somewhere else? Tone had to admit the concept was interesting to him and he kind of wanted to see it happen at least one time. Distracted, Tone looked over at Zophyr when she spoke up by his side and although it took him a moment to recognize her, a smile came to his lips. "Zo! It's been awhile. How have you been?" The boy asked, tilting his head to the side. Yes, Tone remembered her. The two of them had exchanged addresses back in the past and had kept in touch via owls. But they hadn't seen eachother's faces in what seemed like ages. Well, until now.
