Sage smiled and nodded intently as Simon explained the internship. She'd heard of muggle kids doing job shadows- internships- once they were older, so it was interesting to her that Hogwarts students could start interning so young. Must be another perk of being magical.

"That sounds so cool! I'll definitely have to sign up for that once I get to my third year." She hated that it was so far off, but it was just another thing to look forward to.

"Yes! Herbology is so fun! I wish I was better at potions, though. Maybe sometime you could give me some pointers? I mean, if you want to. I'm sure you probably can get very busy."

Sage wouldn't flinch nor act disgusted when Simon made the discreet comment of being a dhampir. After all, who was she to judge another student's identity? She knew that feeling of being hated, although not in the same sense since she wasn't a dhampir, all too well. No person- human or not- deserved to be hated, Sage thought.

"I should probably be heading back to the common room to start this reading, but I'd love for you to meet Casey at some point! Perhaps a later date would be better though, seeing as I have reading to get to, and you probably have something you could be doing. So, hopefully, we'll get the opportunity to plan for a cat meeting at a later date!"

Sage stood, hugging the book to her chest, and waving to Simon. "It was wonderful meeting you! Thanks for the help with getting the book!"
