Tommy could not really judge the girl yet. She seemed kind, and forward... well, to a degree. It was always hard to judge someone within the first few interactions. Tommy had an idea to find out a little bit more of the girl's personality. Was she the fun type or the all business type?

"Do you think a hotdog is a sandwich?"

This was one of Tommy's favourite ice breakers. He always felt like he could tell a lot about someone from how they reacted to the question. Honestly, to him, the reaction to the question was more important that the answer himself.

Some adults would scoff at the question, calling it immature and telling him to grow up. Some would give an answer suddenly and have a surprisingly strong opinion on their answers. Others would be puzzled by the question and refuse to outright answer (these were the worst, in his opinion).

Regardless, he knew depending on how the girl reacted, he would learn a little more about her. Due to Tommy having asked so many people this question, he did in fact know there was a right answer, so he decided to add a little more to the question.

"There is in fact a right answer." This little addition often made for fun discourse if someone had a strong opinion that just so happened to be incorrect. Oddly enough, this was the first time Tommy had asked someone this at Hogwarts. I guess the ice didn't need to be broken in most situations he found himself in... Or it was just broken in much more dangerous or idiotic ways.

A sudden change of topic was what Raizel wasn’t expecting. They were talking about broom racing and then it suddenly shifted into something else. It had completely caught her off guard, making her stare at the boy in front of her with a raised eyebrow. She closed the notebook that she had been reading, standing up. Perhaps that’s a sign that the conversation is going stale and that she had overstayed and it was probably time to get going.

Of course, she’s not the type to leave a question unanswered unless it was beyond her knowledge. Still, it was a strange question. “Is it not?” she wondered. “It’s stuffed between two pieces of bread, I think that makes it a sandwich.” She answered him. Really though, isn’t that what defines a sandwich or is there some muggle stuff that she doesn’t know about? In any case, that is her opinion of it. Why should she care about if it’s considered a sandwich or not though. It doesn’t matter right? It’s still food after all.

She scratched the back of her head, wondering if that was the right answer but again, not like she cared. That’s her opinion. In any case, she found that sudden shift a bit awkward but still, she tried not to let it show and smiled instead. “Well, whatever the correct answer is, I still stand my ground that it’s still a sandwich and food is food.” she shrugged. “I’m probably bothering you at this point. I’ll be seeing you around.” And with that, she gave the boy a wave goodbye before going on her way, try a different spot to read some notes where she won’t be bothering anyone else.
