Aw, that's too bad. I love sweets, they're so yummy. It's so weird, my dad's entire side of the family eat sweet stuff and then complain that it's 'too sweet'. How is something even too sweet? If it has extra chocolate in it, then it's perfect! I really don't think anything in this world could be too sweet or too sugary for me.

Okay, corridors tomorrow! I've got it engrained in my mind, and I most definitely will not forget to meet you. Maybe we can go outside or something if it's nice. If not... do you think the Potions Professor will let us hangout in her classroom? I really want to be able to make potions and stuff outside of class but I have no clue how to ask...!

I agree, some of my old...well my brothers' old friends...they were like that as well. Perhaps some people like sweets so much that they are irresistible but then they find out that the candy is too sweet afterwards. I've only had that happen with Sour Patch Kids before. They are so good! I haven't tried any candy on the Hogwarts Express actually, maybe coming back to Hogwarts I will! That would be so fun to taste candy on the Hogwarts Express. Maybe we can share an apartment together when we go!

One time, me and my friend went swimming in the Great Lake with permission! It was super fun! Maybe we'll do it in our second year?

Ever since I came here to Hogwarts, I've realized that I need to focus on friendships and other things besides school before my life is wasted. And yes, I agree, Emily Shephard is one of the best people I've ever met so far! Can't wait till our second year!

Sour Patch Kids are muggle candy right? Even though my dad is muggle-born, since he grew up in China he didn't really eat a lot of the candy that muggles I know eat. My mum is pureblood so of course I've tried the candy she used to eat as a kid. I think muggle candy is kind of boring but I like knowing that my chocolate won't jump in my stomach!
I'm glad you like Emily as much as I do! I think everyone that's met her has thought the same as you and I, she's just really nice! If I spot Emily in the halls, I'll tell her that I met you! I always think it's so cool to meet a friend of a friend.
