To be answered regarding your character:

• What is their best memory?

Avis best memory has to be the few she got with her Da before he disappeared when she was younger! One of her favorites would probably be her trip to a Kenmare Kestrels Quidditch match with Da and her older brother Will. She was very young but she holds this memory close to her heart as it contains some of her favorite things: Da, Will, Irish Quidditch and the Kestrels of course!

• What is their worst memory?

Avis' worst memory so far is not only learning of Da's disappearance but watching her Mam break down in front of her. She doesn't remember much about the moment but it was heartbreaking to watch and something she would never want to experience again. It was specifically tragic because she was just a child and watching one's mother go through something so heavy at such a young age is quite scarring.

• What is the event that impacted them the most?

In this case, although her father's disappearance is very influential, she again was very young so now, the event that's probably impacted her the most is receiving her letter to Hogwarts. As the youngest child, she watched her older siblings leave for school every year and yearned for her opportunity, especially as someone who'd always wanted to leave home and see the world. When she finally got her letter, the joy and anticipation kind of made her in that moment!

• In what ways have they improved / grew?

Avis used to have still has quite the temper when she was younger. If she couldn't do something the first time, she got so angry at herself and refused to try again. She would often get her anger sparked by the smallest of things and had trouble controlling her rage and her mouth when this happened. She's gotten better over the years of her childhood at thinking before she speaks but that temper still rages at a high temperature, especially with all these new people and experiences happening around her. Unfamiliarity and adjustment are not her highest strong suits.

• What is the most significant change regarding their character, for good or for bad, either personality-wise or storyline-wise?

I would say the most recent significant change is learning that her Da is still alive over Christmas Break. After 8 years of trying not to think about him and accepting his death, learning that he was still out there and trying to come home created a whirlwind of conflict inside her young 11 year old mind. She battled with allowing herself to hope and shutting down any thought that he might return as she was used to. This event made her a bit more solemn at school during the next term and she often caught herself overthinking about this subject. This event also made her realize that little petty events and actions from other people didn't quite matter when she had something as big as this going on in her life, so in a way, it helped her control her temper.

• Who is their best new friend? How did they become friends?

Avis can confidently say that @Maisie Gemmell is her best friend! They met as spectators at a Quidditch match but truly began to bond when they were put together as dorm mates mid-term. Their relationship instantly clicked as they had many personality similarities, but came from stark opposite backgrounds. As two curious 11 year olds, the different backgrounds actually helped their relationship grow and Avis knows she can always rely on Maisie to back her up in a sticky situation or be her adventure buddy when her impulsiveness kicks in.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

An 'enemy' is a foreign term to an 11 year old in most cases so I wouldn't say Avis has too many of those, but she did have a run in with a Slytherin student after mistaking their actions for negative earlier in the year. This instant prejudice against Slytherin House stemmed from her older brother Will who had quite a few enemies among the Snakes. So I wouldn't say Avis has any enemies, yet, she might disagree with me when her older brother teases her a bit too much or gets on her nerves, even though she worships him.

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

Grades-wise, Avis is pretty satisfied with herself at this point in the term. She still struggles a bit in Herbology and will hopefully find a tutor, but other than that, school has gone pretty smoothly for her. She's found a best friend, she's had few adventures, she's eaten some delicious blueberry muffins in the Great Hall and she's ready to get home for Break, however, she wishes she could connect with a few more students, so she at least can recognize more faces at school events and in the hallways.

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

Grades for Avis is a must, but not necessarily because she wants to get good grades. She's really more motivated by her nerd of an older sister, who she constantly attempts to show up when it comes to school, although never quite reaches her goal. She strives to upkeep her family's standards as the youngest child so she wants to live up to her older siblings' accomplishments, something she'll have to learn is not possible in every case. However, besides school, Avis has a secret vendetta to discover for herself what happened to her Da and with her best friend's help, she's set a goal for this next year to do all she can to find him, even if that means breaking a few rules.

• Which words (no more than five) would they use to summarise this year?

An exciting and educational adventure!

• What was your favourite memory?

I know this is more meant to filled out at the end of the year but I saw this now so why not? Anyways, my favorite memory so far has been bonding with people over writing and fiction! It's incredible what kind of people you can find when you give in to your passion and find others with the same mindset!

• Is your character developing the way you expected them to? If not, how so?

I think she's developing more than I expected to be honest. I joined the site with not much of a plan but now I'm creating more of a plot for her next couple years and it's so fun.

• What goal would you like to accomplish in the next year (if anything, either for you or your character)?

I think I want her personality to develop a bit more. I've mentioned multiple times that she has a temper she can't control very well, so I think I want something to happen where she realizes that she can't just let it take over every time. Maybe a few learning experience? Not sure yet!

Being in Caerphilly overall, exploring the sites and cooking many exotic dishes, tending her own gardens too.

Almost bit someone or vampire instincts took over once.

The 5th anniversary, she gets a big taste of the grand life, meeting her first ally (Esme Hestridge!!)

Began to be much more in tune with her Dhampir side and embracing it more! Much happier with people knowing that she is a half breed.

She's more eloquent and elegant. Matured and fully aware of both sides of her family.

I would say OOC and IC, Andrea! Met at the Hogwarts Field Day they might as well become wonderful allies and friends if they can break the ice

Although not much is said, they probably will be frenemies. Livia Machavariani, different but tolerable, different ideals and ideas. I would say their just baffled at someone polarizing in difference. There seems to be not much in common.

I guess meeting new people, getting used to the program and yeah being good overall and new experiences!
