Making plans with @Charlotte Winfield

"Pleasure to meet you, Lottie Winfield,"
he said with a smile and immediately met her handshake, glad to see that someone still did such. He often gave a handshake when meeting others, as it was the formal way to be and well - when you were just starting to make friends that seemed like a good place to start. It showed that you respected the other person enough, literally reaching out to them and offering them yourself.

Maybe Charlotte Winfield would become a new friend. Maybe he could use her reviews of one of the candies in an upcoming article of The Hogwarts Headliner. Maybe the two would just share one afternoon at Hogsmeade in Honeydukes and part ways. Still, this was a start.

"Come find me at the large tree just to the left of the Entrance Hall on the Grounds, Saturday morning after breakfast lets up?" he asked, hoping that time would work for her. It was only best for students to be at Hogsmeade on the weekends and his Sundays were pretty much taken up by his Sunday Morning Reverance and Exploration with AngelFyre - and he wouldn't have it any other way.

But he was looking forward to this Saturday if she agreed. He too needed to at least try and be normal and expand his knowledge of sweets in general - especially those in the wizarding world that was now his world.

OOC: If wanting, instead of closing out this thread, I can edit this post to be the end and you can start a new one for them in Honeydukes. It doesn't have to start there - just the main interaction there, so it could begin with meeting Simon on the grounds. Let me know your thoughts!

Be kind to one another. (*iNPC is Miles Thatcher)

Lottie would admit that his relaxed nature was something of a comfort to her. She cracked a relieved smile at his firm handshake, and slumped her tense muscle slightly. The sunlight outside flashed across her face, bringing something like anxious excitement into her gut.

As Simon spouted off some directions on where to meet, Lottie scrambled for a piece of paper to jot them down on. She still had a bit of a hard time locating things in the large school. She gently folded the note twice and tucked it away into her bag for safe-keeping.

"Yes. Yes, that sounds good," Lottie's smile widened, a thin line of teeth peaking out from under her plush lips. It sounded an awful lot like an adventure, something her sister had always told her Hogwarts was jam-packed with. She suddenly wanted desperately to owl her sister and tell her of this interaction immediately. "Left of the Entrance Hall. I'll be there."

She gave a brief glance to her watch, and was taken aback by the drastic change in time since when she had begun this strange interaction. Her studying had been mostly for naught and she really wanted to get to her room to begin writing up a new letter to her sister.

"I think I should be going," Lottie said, standing up carefully from her seat and slinging her messenger bag over her shoulder. "It was good to meet you, Simon. I'll see you Saturday?"

OOC: I'm so, so sorry for how long this took me. Time really slipped away from me. But yes, I can start a new thread at Honeydukes for the continuation! Thank you for your patience.
