Aurelia, felt the boy’s eyes on her, she knew he expected her to do something for he had surely saw the wand that slipped from her bag a few minues ago. Like the boy said, they -or more specifically him- needed to run. The men were to close, there was a huge possibility that either of the two were faster and more agile, but it wasn’t a guarantee.

With each step the bulky man took, Aurelia took a step back, however, she knew she couldn’t keep that up for long. Aurelia already had the cold cherry wood wand in her grasp, a dangerous weapon, hidden under the fabric of her purse.

She was weighing the possible consequences and possibilities of the things that might go wrong. There were too many things, her spell could backfire and hit her or worse, hit the boy who was still to stubborn to listen to his own advice and run. She could also get in trouble with the MoM law of usage of underage Magic. What was the right thing to do in a situation like this? Her parents have never taught her and it was up to her to decide what to do.

A flicker of movement and everything seemed to be moving slowly, the man lunged forward reaching for the white purse she had. The decision was made once the brunette pulled out her wand in barely but a split second, waving it and mouthing the incantation, “Flipendo.” followed by a bright flash of sliver light, reassuring her that the spell had not backfired, but another figure came into view from the corner of her blue eyes.
