"Possibly, yeah." He nodded. "Don't suppose there's exactly a huge amount of aurors so it's possible, or even probably I guess, that they've done some kind of job together." His father often recounted many of his stories, and experiences whilst working as an Auror to Jacob, but he often didn't include names or much detail about who was involved, beyond just vague guesses of numbers.
"I'm not necessarily bad at dancing, just not.. Good, I guess." Objectively speaking, he was incredibly average at dancing, and would never look out of place in a room of dancing people. It was purely a mental issue for him. "I'd probably be decent if I just let myself dance ,if that makes sense. I'll try and lead the dance, but I'll get terrified about stepping onto some other passing pairs foot, or spinning my partner into another couple. That's my only issues, really."
He nodded in agreement about how peaceful the courtyard was, reminiscent on some of his experiences with sneaking off. "It is very nice at the minute." He muttered. "Kind of why I like waking up nice and early, you get to walk around these places without.. What? Hundreds of other students bustling about. It's very nice."

@Jacob ThorelyDanielle nodded in agreement with Jacob. It was reasonable to assume there weren't a huge amount of Aurors. It was a dangerous line of work, and lives could often be put on the line. Yet due to her father's work hours, Danielle didn't know many of the work details, such as partners, cases, or stories.
As the conversation shifted towards pureblooded balls and dances, she nodded along with what Jacob said about his dancing, commenting about his mental blocks and how aware he was when he danced. "That makes sense. Mental blocks are the absolute worst." She smiled softly at him, "If you wanted, I could help you figure out how to get over them. I know there are supposed to be a few dances during the school year." Danielle suggested, having heard about dances from her older brother.
The conversation shifted once again, this time to how peaceful the courtyard was in the mornings. Normally, Danielle wouldn't mind the hustle and bustle around the school, but it was nice to not have to worry about hundreds of students now and then. "I might have to take a page from your book then." she said with a soft laugh. "Wake up early, find a peaceful spot to just enjoy the quiet in, and admire the school without the hundreds of other students."

"Could be nice, yeah." He nodded at the offer to help him getting over his lack of confidence around dancing. "Not sure I'll want to go anywhere near any of those dances though, truth be told." He muttered, mainly to himself, but likely just about loud enough for her to make out. He'd spent more than enough time in various dances in his younger years, Hogwarts was where he inteded to get away from them. At least, get away from most of them.
"Getting up early is definetly the way to go though." He began. "School is a lot busier than I'd imagined as a kid though, in my head I expected.. I don't know, maybe half the amount of students? It was suprising." In hindsight, his estimation of numbers had been based off of him not expecting many muggleborns or half-bloods. He leant back into the back of the bench with a sigh, glancing idly around the courtyard. "I suppose, though, as much as I enjoy when it's quiet, like this, it's also nice when it's busy. My house was pretty quiet all of the time, because I'm an only child and my father was busy a lot of the time, so it's a pretty cool change to have so many people around."

@Jacob ThorleyDanielle smiled softly at his reply, barely catching what he'd said under his breath. She couldn't blame him. It was quite well known that as a pureblooded family, often, your childhood was filled with fancy parties, balls, etiquette, learning to be proper, and not ruining the family's reputation. Of course, some families were more relaxed than others, yet, there were still certain expectations and strict rules. "I wouldn't blame you." she said quietly, glancing over in his direction.
As they switched their topic of conversation, Danielle listened as Jacob told her his initial expectations of Hogwarts when he was a child, nodding and humming in agreement now and then.
"I have two other siblings, an older and a younger. So things aren't exactly aren't exactly quite around my home." She said, a small smile appearing as she thought about her younger sister, Charlotte. "Though, the outdoors was a lovely escape when I needed it."
As a child, when Dani's parents had been too consumed with their work, and she and her siblings had been staying with their grandparents, Danielle often sought solace in the vast meadows and fields of the French countryside where her grandparent's estate resided. Other than that, the piano helped her relax when things became too hectic with Blaise and Charlie.OOC Note: I am incredibly sorry for such a long wait! These last few months of school have been stressful! Hopefully, we can get this RP going again!
