An unexpected meetup
Being expelled felt like the worst possible outcome of his time at Hogwarts. Aedion had big dreams for the future, meaning he really wanted to stay here until he was able to graduate succesfully. Afterwards he wanted to study to be able to get somewhere with potions or herbology. Although he always had a liking for History too, but what could he possibly do with that? He had never heard of anyone having a job that had something to do with history. A historian, perhaps? But if he was being entirely honest, that sounded rather boring.
In the upcoming years Aedion was sure he would learn more about the jobs in the wizarding world. For now he was still too young to focus on it all. He had to focus on other things. These past months had been quite overwhelming already, but he was sure that it would be less overwhelming in the near future. When he would be entirely settled it would all feel more natural to him to be at Hogwarts. Even for him, a Wizard born student, it could feel surreal at times.
He nodded in agreement with Lithaen. She would definitely know more about Edinburgh and Scotland than he did.
"Are you from Edinburgh?" he asked her after her comment about it being the best city in the world. "I think it's just really normal for me, which makes it feel boring. But I suppose you have the same with Scotland in a way, right?" A smile appeared on his face again just as he took a bite out of the cauldron cake.
"Really? I've heard dolls usually have very pretty hair. Do you have your doll here with you?" Even though he never played with dolls himself, he was still an eleven year old boy that was interested in extraordinary and weird things most of the time.
"I will teach you how to study! But what shall we do first? Maybe I can help you with some of your homework now and then we go for some adventure after as a reward for studying?"

An unexpected meetup
One year ago Lithaen had lost her twin brother Chaol to a stupid disease. It start with a greenish rash, then he got sparks from his nostrils. They went to St. Mungo's soon enough, but there was nothing they could do for them. He had Dragon Pox, a (potentially) fatal and contagious disease. When he died, Lithaen was heartbroken. Before they did everything together - literally everything - and now she was all alone. She just could't handle being alone.
Therefore she was looking for new friends all the time. When her Gryffindor friends were busy, she just needed to find new friends to connect with. Anything to prevent from being alone. If this boy, Aedion, allowed her to be his friend (maybe they could even be best friends, the best best friends of all time!), she wouldn't leave him alone. That was for sure. She could be very clingy from time to time.
"Yes, I am! I was born there and I grew up near the city. My parents have a little farm, with chickens, a caw and a few magical creatures! What about you? How did you grow up? Do you have brothers? Sisters?" She shrugged. "I actually don't think Scotland is boring. Do you think I have to? I mean.. to be popular?" According to Lithaen he knew how to be popular. He looked popular to her.
"They do! And eh.. Maybe? Yes. She's in my bed. It's a rag doll. Her name is Aspen. Oh, that isn't going to make me populair either, is it? Not that I want to be popular, but you know what I mean, don't you?" She too was still very young and she was still very attached to her doll and other plushies.
"Yes, that sounds like a plan! It's smart doing the boring stuff first. Do you want to help me with my History of Magic homework? As this was one of your favourite subjects?"
