I sit here, longing for the holidays to come,
Impatient heart, beating like a distant drum.
With dreams in my eyes, I count the passing days,
Oh, how I yearn for the magic holidays will blaze.

Each moment stretches, time moves at a crawl,
Anticipation rises, like the sun standing tall.
In twinkling lights and laughter, my heart will find delight,
For the holidays are coming, and my spirit takes flight.

Gargoyle

Perched upon the ledge, a guardian stone,
A gargoyle stands, with a presence all its own.
Carved with intricate detail, weathered and old,
A sentinel of shadows, steadfast and bold.

From lofty heights, it watches over the land,
With eyes of stone, a sentinel grand.
Silent protector, in rain or shine it stays,
A timeless symbol, enduring through the days.

In magic's realm, I yearn to break free,
From destiny's grip, a path for me to see.
As a pureblood witch, I seek my own fate,
To shape my story, and escape its weight.

With wand in hand, I'll forge a different way,
Unraveling the threads, destiny's sway.

I'll embrace my freedom and let my spirit be.
