The statement surprised Alyssea. Captains giving up their sports? Well, she could understand if they left captaincy and the sport as a whole; sometimes, things aren't as fun as they initially were. Had there been captains who kept their position even after stepping down from the team? She found that a bit hard to believe. Then again, the guy wasn't clear and Alyssea was just reaching for excuses.

She backed up as Raizel and the other guy as they prepared for the match. She cleared her throat; maybe this would be good practice for next week with the winter races. "On three. One... two... THREE!"

Alyssea's eyes widened with how quickly that came and went. She swore she blinked and that was it; Raizel's hand hit the table without even an ounce of resistance. Then again, the bald guy made it clear that this was serious for him.

She was left sputtering and dumbfounded and her hands went hot. Oh no, she would probably next in the running to wrestle now, right? "Oh, wow... You're really strong."

Alyssea walked up to Raizel and patted her back. "Tough luck, but hey, you still did great." Turning to the bald guy, she asked, "What's your name? I haven't seen you before."
