Living is the art of getting used to what we didn't expect

"Oh my gosh, my dad taught me to play too! I think he's jealous that I'm a little better at it." Madi smiled. The difference between her and her dad was that she practiced a lot more on her Casio she'd gotten as a seventh birthday present, and it had probably been about four years since he really practiced. "That's cool! I don't really sing much." Madi said, and then shook her head. "Dads always think they are much better at singing than they are." she had personal experience with that. She'd gone through too many birthday songs to call her dad's singing good.
Madi listened to Madison explain more about herself. "Oh, that's cool! Maybe I'll come see one of your games! If it's against Ravenclaw, of course." she grinned. "No way! That's awesome." Madi said once she heard that Madison's dad played Quidditch for England. Madison probably got to play a lot with her dad when she was younger, and that sounded really fun.
After that, they were quiet so as not to disturb the lesson and get reprimanded. Madi started taking the notes she'd neglected while talking to Madison, when Madison passed a note over to her.
I was just thinking the same thing!! she wrote back, and had to hold her breath to contain her giggle.
