Unbelievable, how even in this situation Lea was not hit with the spell. There must have been something about that Hufflepuff that repels magic, or so Winona thought. But before she could accuse the older student of being a cheater, the flames on the bed were extinguished by an adult. The head nurse, of whom Winona had heard about from other students, as a sweet, caring individual. The Slytherin took no time to explain herself, fully believing that she was not the one at fault. "I meant to hit Lea, but she dodged it. It's her fault."

Expecting that a reasonable adult would take her side, she continued to speak while putting her wand away. "I'm injured and can barely even walk on my own, and these two are standing here, bullying me." Finally saying those words felt painful. Especially after declaring several times that she was alright and did not need anyone's help. Admitting her own weakness caused Winona's eyes to tear up, making it hard for her to get the last words out. "I just wanted them to stop tormenting me."

The whole situation was very uncomfortable. Accidentally starting a fire, looking incompetent in front of two other students, only to be questioned by the nurse... What a way to start the year. Winona lowered her gaze to avoid eye contact with anyone in the room, taking long breaths to avoid crying in her distressed state.

"Bullying?" Now that's an accusation that Raizel won't just take, making her chuckle. It was funny how twisted Slytherin's mind works but she is still unimpressed by it which is soon shown by how her expression quickly turned dark. "Since when was assisting someone who could barely walk had become some sort of 'bullying'?" She asked with crossed arms, looking over to Winona and then the School Nurse who arrived just in time to extinguish that fire that the Slytherin had started.

Torment, which part of this was tormenting for this girl? That she doesn't know. Like what she mentioned earlier, none of the things she's saying makes any sense. They tried to leave her, she complained, and when they stayed to make sure that she's okay, she still complained. This was beginning to get exhausting, more exhausting than being hit by countless spells in a duel. In case someone wants some answer to why they are here though, perhaps she could inform the nurse about it. "She's injured from a practice duel just in case you're uh… wondering why we are here." She said to Emery once she got her composure back. "We just offered to take her here to help out but then… well, things didn't go well as you can see." Her gaze went to the burnt bed, grimacing at the sight.

While it wasn't her fault that the bed had caught on fire, it still made her feel guilty for causing troubles to the staff of the school. Should she apologize for it? She would but that's Winona's fault and she'd rather not apologize for something that this girl had done. Raizel would be glad to leave right now and flop on her bed too. Heck, even the Hospital Wing is looking nice to sleep in right now.

With everything going on, Opeila had not dropped her side activity as a hospital wing intern. While the fifth year knew for sure by now that healing was not what she wanted to do after Hogwarts, she enjoyed contributing what she could here. And after four years at Hogwarts, that was not too little.
On her second day back she had already shown up in the afternoon to assist with whatever nurse Featherstone may need helping with- and maybe get her hands on one or two cookies.

Turned out that her help was actually not unwelcome. Opeila followed the nurse to get some potions and carried one of the two boxes back to the hospital wing. Potions had never been a strong subject of Opeila's. That meant, she did keep her grades up, but it required a lot more studying than other subjects, namely the spellcasting ones did. So she listened quite closely to the explanations of the potions the nurse gave her on their way back, maybe she would actually be able to make use of them in class.

Suddenly nurse Featherstone interrupted herself, telling Opeila that they needed to hurry. The fifth year would not question this as she saw her worried expression and quicken her pace. The two of them entered the hospital wing only in time to see a pillow on fire, surrounded by three girls. Opeila made sure to carefully set down the box to not break any of the potions in it, while nurse Featherstone extinguished the fire and got an explanation from the assistant.

When she then turned to the girls by the time Opeila also joined the group, there were already accusations being made. The oldest girl pointed to one of the younger ones who Opeila recognized as a Slytherin, who decided to answer this in a way that made Opeila roll her eyes. Was this a Slytherin thing? Having absolutely no feeling for acceptable behavior? She could swear it had been different during her younger years. Sure she had done dumb stuff, but she had sure as hell been aware that casting a fire spell at another student was not an acceptable excuse whatsoever to set something else on fire.

Then the next girl continued, explaining the spellcaster's injury and why there were here in the first place. "So you decided to... what, continue your duel in here?", was all Opeila would say. There were adults present, she would leave it to them to reprimand the girls. Instead she grabbed a chair from nearby and carried it over to Winona. "Maybe you should sit down."
