𝓢hoot, Amadea thought to herself as she casted her next spell. In her hesitation, it seemed as though her spell had completely missed Octavius who was now fully out of the binds from her first spell, rendering him an effective opponent yet again. It was a simple mistake, but Amadea knew she couldn't dwell on it because it could affect the rest of the duel. Sure, she missed her shot to get one more free hit on the professor, but at this point, she needed to focus on the future rather than the mistakes of the past.

Professor Baird was speaking now and Amadea focused on his words and his compliments. She couldn't help but let out a small smile at his praise; it certainly was nice to be complimented by someone who was more experienced in the field than she was. "Thank you, Professor," she replied. His words of warning did not faze the Hufflepuff, though. She knew what she had gotten herself into and she knew the potential dangers of duelling. Amadea knew she could handle whatever was thrown at her; even if she lost this duel, she knew she would have gained invaluable experience from duelling with a much more experienced professor that would help her in her future.

She took a deep breath and steadied herself for the next round, keeping her eyes focused on the professor who was now out of his ties. She had to be strategic about her next move.

With him being free from his bindings, it was now the time for Professor Octavius' comeback. Eyes on his target just before him, thinking about which spell would be good to use in this duel and what came to his mind was the same spell that Amadea had been bombarding him with.

'Confringo'

A quick gesture followed by its incantation. While it didn't come out as great as the one that Amadea casted before probably because of the fact that it was rushed for the Hufflepuff had aimed her wand at him, it was still better than nothing. Unfortunately though, Amadea was quick enough to avoid the full force of the spell just as she released her own spell but suffered from the rubbles that was blown her way due to the force of the spell.

Professor Octavius had to dodge the spell coming from the Hufflepuff as well. A stream of water shot out towards him as soon as Amadea casted her spell and said the incantation. If she was just a bit faster on that one, she would've hit the professor as she only missed by a couple of inches away from her target.

Raizel let out a whistle out of amusement as she watched the results of this round, eager to see more of their tricks.
