Zach remembered a fun combo he had made in his diary, Tarantallegra X Rictusempra! What could be more fun than watching some dramatic dance with laughter? So he cast the spell towards Oliver and… it hit him successfully! Zach smiled more brightly after seeing that. But he couldn't relax yet. The other side also cast a spell, a Flipendo one. Zach stooped his body as a reflex when he heard the incantation. The pressure from the spell itself could be felt by him even when he wasn't hit by it. The sound of the falling dummies also could be heard from the place Zach stood. Zach was grateful that the spell didn't hit him. He didn't want to feel any more pain from the Knockback Jinx or from the other spell. No more.

Zach wondered how long Oliver would dance. But he predicted that the effect would wear off soon. It's just his intuition. But if it's true, Oliver would later become normal again, with no any debuffing. Zach tried to remember what he had written in his diary about the duelling tactic. His head was full of some notes that he, himself, couldn't grasp any of them. However, time never stops. He had to decide what action he would do for the next round.

Oliver was not doing very well. Most of his spells were dodged, or partly dodged, he wasn’t able to get a good hit in. “Damn!” he said to himself. It was clear Zach was much more experienced and prepared as to Oliver, dodging almost all of his shots while getting hit by Zach's spells. Oliver was losing quick, he hoped his flipendo would hit. “Flipendo!” He had shouted. He had done Flipendo quite a bit.. Zach was quick to dodge it. Unlike Oliver, when he casted a spell at him, he wasn’t able to dodge it. He had casted Tarantellegra X Rictusempra at him, the dancing and laughing spell. Oliver once again dancing and frolicking around, laughing historically. Oliver turned red in embarrassment. He danced against his will, and he laughed without feeling remotely happy at that moment. He didn’t know what to do. How could he beat Zach? Something that Zach wouldn’t see coming? Oliver wasn’t prepared. He thought this was just a way to practice his spells. Well, it was, but it was a duel, a competition, Oliver wanted to win, but he didn’t see how. Then he thought of something. It wasn’t a very good plan but it was worth a shot.

Nearly halfway, and things weren't looking good for Oliver. Even though he'd produced an absolutely brilliant Curse of the Bogies at Zach, Zach own previous spells towards him were having a toll. Brown's own spell this round was dodged effectively by Zach, who created a Flipendo that would see the other duellist spinning across the floor, legs flailing about like a fish out water. Bea winced. More of something would be needed for Oliver to get a upper-hand here. [/color]

Classic move from the pale boy, Knockback Jinx. Personally, Zach didn't like the use of the spell because it wasn't interesting enough. Just hit the opponent, make them move backward some steps and finish. But his feelings told him that he must do it. He didn't know the reason but he followed his heart. "Flipendo!" shout Zach from the opposite pliet side of Oliver. He successfully cast the spell and it also hit Oliver. But at the same time, he also heard such a long incantation from Oliver. He suddenly moved to the side where Oliver's wand didn't point at him.

Zach was lucky enough he could avoid the spell. If he couldn't make it, he would be completely distracted by the flu-like syndrome. Who would gonna continue a duel when their nose was running? Zach sighed a relief. Then he observed Oliver and it seemed that he wasn't in a good condition. Previous Tarantallegra and Rictusempra, added by Flipendo just now, might have made him exhausted. But Zach didn't actually know so he asked, "Are you okay? We can end it here if you're exhausted." Zach was purely worried about him. He thought that it wasn't fun to just lay on the Hospital Wing bed or dorm on a Sunny Saturday.

What a duel. Poor Oliver hadn't really been able to get a hit in, and as Bea watched this round she winced for the poor boy. His usual antics of standing still wouldn't save him this time. Zach was determined to win and pounced on his chance of defeating Brown where he could. Zachs' spell would hit hard and true, making the poor boy trot out a jig. But it would be too much for Oliver. Bea could see it. He was waning and before anything drastic happened, like him collapsing on the floor, Bea called time. Her meagre healing spells, of which she had one, wouldn't prove useful in this situation. Calling it, she went to prop Oliver up before he fell, nodding in congratulations to Zach. "That's it. Zach has won. I'm calling it before Oliver here collapses and makes me look suspicious in front of the Nurse." She hadn't even introduced herself properly to Nurse Featherstone yet. Carrying a student in probably wasn't going to be the best first introduction. She smiled at Zach though. "Congratulations Zach! Hopefully you can show this in our duelling matches this year!" Sliding an arm around Olivers waist, she would direct him off the piste to some seating, where she deposited the frightfully battered boy into one of the closest seats. She called back to Zach, "Can you grab our stuff Zach? I think Oliver should be taken to the Hospital Wing to get checked up."

Thank you for sticking with me, and I am sorry I took so long. I have made Oliver not unconscious due to Bea's meagre healing arsenal. I am willing to continue stick around in the thread if you want to continue

Zach saw that Oliver was not in a good condition. Some offensive spells might made him immediately unconscious. So he racks his brain trying to find a spell that could make him win but didn't hurt his teammate so much. Zach came up with this one spell, Tarantallegra, a Dancing-Feet Spell. He had felt all the effect of the offensive spells from his previous duels and Dancing-Feet Spell was indeed the least hurting one. So he cast it towards Oliver. "Tarantallegra!" The spell hit him successfully. Not long after that, he saw that Oliver started to collapse but luckily, his senior caught the boy. Zach was freezed by seeing that, didn't know how to react.

Zach wake from his freeze when Beatrice congratulated him. She then direct Oliver to one of the seats to have seatings. Zach was still on the piste until the senior ask him to get their belongings. Then he quickly went down the piste and picked up their belongings, including his own enchanted satchel. "Thank you, Bea. Let me help you bring him to the Hospital Wings," Zach said. He was a little bit happy for his winning but not satisfied yet. Like his senior said, he had to show this on this year matches.
