Summer Camp Cabin of the Unicorn Closed

Once word got around to her, Mae had decided to sign up for camp. She wasn't fully sure on which cabin she wanted to go to, so she picked Cabin of the Unicorn. She saw a friends name on there and didn't mind signing up. She made her way down the steps of the castle and out past the grounds. She knew she was going to be late but didn't mind it at all. Mae was excited to see the campgrounds, after all thats where she was probably going to be for the next 3 months. Once she got passed the grounds she saw cabin after cabin and thought to herself that this was going to be nuts attempting to find the one she was staying in.

Mae looked at the campground and had to stare at it for a minute. It was gorgeous. Mae was never huge into camping back at home, but this was a whole different world. What made the biggest difference is that back at home, there was no magic but here there was. Mae had a good feeling about summer this year. She made her way down a path to find her cabin. "Cabin of the unicorn....cabin of the unicorn," Mae repeated looking for hers. The cabins seemed a bit tiny on the outside and she wondered how they would have many kids sign up, and such small cabins. She finally found the cabin that said Unicorn on it and she opened the door.

Instead of seeing a smaller living space, it was like Mae had opened the door to a mansion. There was an upstairs and a downstairs, as well as a couch space to fit. Mae's eyes were wide with amazement as she backed up and stared at a little measly cabin and then looked into a mansion. She walked in and closed the door behind her. She looked at the walls of the place, there were rainbows on the walls and everything was bright and beautiful. Mae had to hold in a squeal from letting out of her twig sized body, otherwise all the other patrons of the cabin would turn to look at the stick who made a sound. She decided to stay on the first floor of the cabin and picked the nearest bed with a pink unicorn on it and sat her stuff down. The unicorn was big and fluffly and Mae was already liking this cabin much more. Whoever was running this cabin was officially her new favorite professor.

Sebastian was a regular David Tennant. Smaller on the outside, larger on the inside. Erin entered the Professor's TARDIS. In the magical world, nothing was what it seemed, it was something the pureblood was accustomed to - being surprised. She could have went home, but she was told to stay. It was not a surprise that her parents did not want her there, meaning that the surprise would be up to Professor Cazarez.

So she would enter the humble cottage, a single small suitcase in hand. It was an indigo leather suitcase with a pair of wheels and a long black metal handle. The rest of her belongings, what little there was, remained in the chest at the foot of her bed in the dorm. She had few personal affects, just her uniform and very basic clothes -- white tanks, blue jean shorts and leather hiking boots. She did not see the need for anything extravagant. Nor did she want it. She was wearing the tank and shorts with boots, most of the clothes in her case looked the exact same. It was odd. Despite her simple attire, her arms and her legs were bandaged in clean, white gauze. It had been several weeks since her 'accident' that left her a bloody mess. The wounds were heeling nicely, despite the fact that the bone in her forearm failed to set right. It was reset just the other day and it still ached.

She was placed in the Cabin of the Unicorn.  She did not remember signing up for something so... so well girly. She should have picked something cooler sounding. Why did she pick this cabin again? Oh yes, because this one was being run by the Deputy headmaster.

So she would open the door to the cabin, she had expected something fantastical like the inside being disproportionately larger. What she did not expect was rainbows painted on the walls. She felt a little nauseated, she never agreed to spend time with Huffledorks.

She was instructed to find a room, so she picked whatever room was left. Well, whichever one had her name embroidered on a plushy waiting for her on the bed. The unicorn plushy was terrifying. She stood at the threshold of the space that would be hers and stared down the unicorn. Its creepy beady eyes seemed to stare into her soul. She would rummage through her suitcase, pulling her wand from the front pouch. She would keep her feet planted near the door and attempt to lean into the room, her fingers curled around the frame of the door as she poked at the unicorn with her want half-expecting the monstrosity to come to life. She would knock it off the bed, the plushy would land on the floor face down.

With trepidation perhaps Erin would step foot inside. She would sweep away at the plushy, herding it to the corner of the room as if it was the smelliest of all gym-socks.

"What fresh hell have I agreed to," Erin muttered.

When she felt it was 'safe' she would wheel her bag into the room. There was not much to unpack, a few phials, several lengths of twine, a stack of parchment and quills and a butter knife that she had ground with some sort of rough stone on both sides. It was not a weapon, rather a tool. She would recover a bundle of bandages, simple white gauze and wrap the white fluff around the metal instrument before she stuffed it under her mattress.

Erin hear Annabelle scream. Confirmed, this place was hell. Those fluffy stuffed things were harbingers of death. With haste, Erin left her room, she planned on sleeping outside. It was safer out there with the werewolves and wandering beasts.

To the couch, to safety.

She would rush over to the sitting area and take whatever spot remained. She was wordless and pale as she took her seat.

It would appear that this thread has died.

I left the topic, disgusted by Sebastian's terrible taste.
