"A pureblood?" Jack repeated when Axyen told him, surprised. "That's really cool! And you're interested in the muggle world, huh? Well, I guess that explains a lot."

He snorted when Tristan asked if he should 'lose all his hard-earned poshness' and just call him Jack. "I'll turn your hair pink if you do," he warned teasingly, snickering at the wink he received. "It would definitely be too intimate." That was why Jack stuck to using people's last names to refer to them, after all.

Jack blinked when Tristan said he hadn't introduced himself yet, because he was pretty sure he had introduced himself already, but he shrugged it off. When he saw the other Slytherin change his clothes to yellow and black, though, he rose a brow, confused. Why change his clothes to those colors? Was he trying to match Axyen?

Shifting his weight to lean back on his heels, he crossed his arms over his chest as he listened to Tristan talk about his knowledge regarding the muggle world and then proceed to explain what Marvel was. It was pretty amusing for him, a muggle-born kid, to watch one pureblood explain to another pureblood what comic books and movies were.

Then Tristan glanced over at him with a strange look and Jack wondered what he was up to. In a minute, the blonde had turned his hair green for reasons unknown to the fourth year. The smile he wore after that combined with the green hair, however, made him remind Jack distinctly of the Batman villain, the Joker.

It was rather strange to see him with such a lively expression on his face when most of the time he seemed to keep his countenance stoic. Then again, they were talking about one of what Jack was sure was Tristan's passions, so it made sense that even he would be enthusiastic about it.

Axyen listened as Tristan and Jack were talking to each other, Axyen had to stop himself from laughing as Jack jokingly mentioning turning Tristan's hair pink. Axyen did note that Jack seemed to prefer to be called only by his surname Burnett, although Axyen would find that difficult as he was more used to just calling people by their first name, although Axyen would try to get used to it, if it meant being respectful.

Axyen noticed Tristan turned towards Axyen to reintroduce himself. He proceeded to say a spell which was slightly too quick for Axyen for him to properly hear the incantation, but suddenly Tristan's clothes turned to yellow and black, Axyen's reaction was priceless. He was too stunned to speak and his face was full of surprise as his eyes widen slightly. Though as Tristan did his dramatic reintroduction(which still confused Axyen slightly) the face of shock was replaced with a small laugh.

Tristan explained Marvel and movies, he already knew one or two things thanks to his friend Addie, but this was still great to know as it explained both in great detail, Axyen silently listened to the explanations. Then Tristan asked if Axyen had any siblings that went here, Axyen could easily imagine Jacob having lots of friends. "M-my older brother J-Jacob just finished h-his education l-last year..." Axyen said.

Tristan proceeded to explain who Loki was, the god of mischief. Axyen noticed another spell was said, Axyen could also see that Tristan was passionate in explaining who Loki was.

Tristan knew that Burnett would not be interested in being called Jack, but now he could not help but have to make it happen. He would not do it again but at least once this time to mischievously annoy the other person. So, Tristan said the spell once again to change his hair color and his hair transformed to hot pink. He then smirked, “Well then my hair has already been damaged, so I’ll call you Jack any way to annoy you.” The way he said it though was clearly a joke, but just in case he added, “Only once though, sometime when you don’t expect it, I do have manners after all.”
He then addressed Axyen’s answer to his question, “Hmm… I do not remember him. Was he in a different house than you?
Tristan noticed however, that the younger boy still had a stammer, and although he had manners he was more of a direct questioner who didn’t care about people’s feelings. So, he asked the question on the top of his mind, “I apologize for my directness, but I was curious if you were nervous. You do not have to be if you are.” He then gave a gentle smile as that is what he had heard he should do to reassure younger children.

Axyen made sure to really not laugh as Tristan said that his hair was already damaged, although Axyen didn't fail to notice that Tristan was smirking however. However, Tristan turned back to Axyen again and asked Axyen if Jacob was in a different house than Axyen. "W-well... y-yeah. He was a Gryffindor...." Axyen replied, though he doubted Tristan would know his older brother if he didn't recognize his name, but you never know...

Axyen then heard Tristan ask Axyen if he was nervous, and tried to reassure Axyen with a gentle smile. "W-well slightly..." Axyen said. Don't stutter... Axyen told himself, sometimes it was moments like these that made Axyen glad his older brother Jacob wasn't here, Jacob would never leave Axyen alone for that.

Axyen still held Muggle Fairytales. Axyen wondered what the book would be about, and he was excited to start reading it, but he was more interested in learning from Tristan and Jack, Axyen casually put his hand in his pocket and felt the folded note. When will I send this...? Axyen asked himself, in truth, he knew he couldn't wait forever, he'd have to do it sooner or later, it'd be better if his mom heard his journeys about Hogwarts sooner rather than later.

"You have an older brother?" Jack asked upon hearing Axyen mention Jacob. "Must be a lot older if he just finished his education last year. Did he attend Hogwarts, too? What house was he?"

Sneering as Tristan turned his hair pink before Jack could, the redhead shrugged. He couldn't really help what Tristan decided to call him. He wondered if the other boy knew why he preferred to be referred to by his last name and why he called others by their last name as well.

Listening to the exchange between Axyen and Tristan, Jack began to wonder if he was even needed or wanted anymore. Axyen answered that his older brother had been a Gryffindor, which meant that Jacob had gone to Hogwarts. That was interesting. But it reminded him of his own adopted older brother who had also been a Gryffindor before he had stopped attending Hogwarts and that made Jack feel somewhat melancholy.

"Why are you curious about muggles, Dragonclaw?" Jack asked the young Hufflepuff. Most purebloods he knew were taught to despise and avoid the muggle world, not be curious about it. "Is there anything in particular you wanted to know about them? Or their stories, since you wanted a book on their fairytales?"

Tristan understood the sneer and knew that he should apologize in order to keep this acquaintance going, he told himself that he was not emotionally affected as he would always agree with the statement that sentiment is not an advantage. Stamping down his slight hurt he displayed an apologetic face, “I apologize, Burnett, if you are offended by my joking statement. I will be addressing you as Burnett unless you give me permission to call you anything else. I apologize if my statement went too far. I often go too far but let me know if I do.
Perhaps this was a very solemn statement but he found a genuine apology is what people desired so he hoped that would be enough to mend whatever problem had happened. He rather enjoyed laughter or coldness than hurting people. Leonard was easier to speak to in that way. He continued, “I truly do appreciate you and do wish to respect you.
Tristan then gently frowned and looked into Burnett’s eyes in hopes of conveying his deep condolences and dedication to respect the other young man. He truly had not meant to disturb Burnett but perhaps he had truly gone too far. Although outwardly, his emotions were apologetic, inside there was an intense amount of turmoil. He was supposed to be cold and Sherlock Holmes like but emotions still cut deeply like a knife. He easily hid it and ignored it but the masks could all collapse in a moment. He truly had appreciated Burnett’s acquaintance but he would shoulder on coldly if it was lost.

Axyen listened at the exchange between Tristan and Jack, Tristan looked apologetic about not referring to Jack by his surname. Axyen made sure to only refer to Jack by his surname from here on out. Axyen would hope that Burnett would accept Tristan's apology as that was usually a good thing, right? Forgiving and kindness always goes a long way. the twelve(12) year old bumblebee badger thought to himself.

Axyen listened as Burnett asked what Axyen was interested about regarding the Muggle World. Axyen thought for a second, there was so many things he wanted to know about Muggles, Axyen remembered when he first entered the dormitories, at first, he simply just saw a bunch of new types of snacks and drinks as well, which of course got Axyen excited.

Axyen looked at Burnett and asked "Do you think you could tell me a bit about Muggle snacks and drinks?" Axyen said, this time he managed to not stutter, but instead went to readjusting his posture constantly every ten(10) to twenty-five(25) seconds. Axyen wondered how many friends Jacob had, considering the fact that none of the two seemed to know who he was. Axyen would just have to assume Jacob doesn't know these two at all.

Jack blinked, puzzled, when Tristan apologized and looked sorry for what he had said. "Offended? I'm not offended. Why would I be?" he asked, confused. "Call me by my first name if you like. It's just not what I prefer; that's all. Plenty of people know that and call me by it anyway, though," he said, chuckling. "Honestly, Theramin, sometimes I think you're a little too serious," Jack added, playfully nudging Tristan in the ribs with an elbow.

He then shifted his attention to Axyen who looked at him and asked about muggle snacks and drinks. The redhead's grin broadened. "Sure, I could tell you. Or we could, I suppose," he amended, glancing over at Tristan who probably wanted to add in his two cents on the matter.

"There are sweet, fizzy drinks that are carbonated and called 'soda'. They come in all kinds of flavors, too! Let's see...what other muggle snacks and drinks are there that purebloods wouldn't know about?" Jack tapped his chin thoughtfully. "There are potato chips. Ever heard of those? They're salty and addictive. Oh, and pizza! But I guess that's more of a meal than a snack. And popsicles, which is basically frozen juice on a stick."

He turned to Tristan again. "Hey, Theramin, what are snacks and drinks muggles have that purebloods don't? I'm not a pureblood, so I don't know what they already know about. Like popcorn, for instance. Purebloods probably have popcorn, right? It's really easy to make."

Perhaps indeed Tristan took everything too seriously but his emotions ran deeply, similar to Mr. Spock’s race of Vulcans. Although his outward appearance often was neutral or perhaps cold when he was not affecting a face for the younger ones, his true emotions were such. He let his face fall into the cold mask that Burnett saw the first day he met him and replied, raising his eyebrows slightly, “What else do you propose I am but serious?” with a slight mischievous glint in his eyes, “Do you truly believe that a different personality, perhaps a giddy one, would fit my handsome Pureblood face?” He looked as perfect as can be, a cold statue with a slight tilt of the lips. He could perhaps see himself be such in a world where he had not lost his best friend, grew up without Pureblood tutors, hammering in the etiquette of not displaying one’s emotions for all to see. “As for other drinks that we have but Muggles do not are Butterbeer, gillywater and gigglewater. I am not quite certain if there are any more drinks that we do not have that Muggles have, although I do see a pattern that there are more alcoholic variations in the muggle world than here.” Tristan paused to think of snacks that might not exist in the Wizarding World but it was difficult to designate such. However, one came to mind, “As for snacks in the Muggle World, have you ever seen a container of cheese that you can spray in your mouth? That is definitely something we do not have but it is something I would not suggest trying, as it does not meet anyone’s standards.

Axyen listened as Burnett proceeded to mention soda, it sounded like something Axyen would like to try. Of course, he could not get it without the help of his dad who seemed to be in general support of the Muggle World. Axyen knew his mother wouldn't get it at all, or at least he thought so anyways. He knew Jacob would help Axyen get soda, but would probably tease and annoy Axyen greatly, it seemed the only way to get soda peacefully was through his dad who often had work at the Ministry.

Axyen continued to listen with the thought of what soda could possibly taste like. Does it taste good like apple juice? Maybe it is just like Gigglewater, a drink Axyen cannot have until he is older, according to his mom and dad and to even his surprise, even his brother who usually was all for breaking the rules, though that didn't make sense otherwise why would it be suggested? Or perhaps it simply tastes horrible... Axyen thought to himself at a moderate pace while Burnett mentioned potato chips, now that sounded like something Axyen would normally have either way, it just didn't sound too weird for whatever unknown reason. Axyen still wanted to try it though, he just wanted to try everything he was learning today, good or bad.

Axyen readjusted his posture slightly to get a better grip on Muggle Fairytales before listening to Burnett explain about pizza and popsicles, pizza seemed to be a meal based on what Burnett briefly explained, but it left questions for Axyen, and Axyen ended up blurting them out randomly. "What does it look like? Or taste like?" Axyen asked, he quickly realized what he had just done, and was slightly embarrassed, but still found the questions appropriate to ask. Axyen readjusted his posture in a sort of 'sorry' pose as Burnett proceeded to explain what popsicles were. Basically frozen juice on a stick, Axyen imagined apple juice that was frozen to ice with a stick in it and then proceeding to taste great. "Wow, those sound delicious!" Axyen said, imagining eating some of what Burnett just explained. "Can't wait to try eating some of these snacks one day." Axyen said, deep in thought and nearly daydreaming about these snacks.

Axyen looked at Burnett as Burnett asked Tristan about drinks and snacks that Muggles have that Purebloods wouldn't. Burnett mentioned Popcorn. Axyen had it a few times, if he had to guess like five times thanks to him being alone with Jacob and his dad, they let Axyen try a few things, perhaps it was because of them that he was interested in the Muggle World at all. Axyen noticed Tristan speak with Burnett about seriousness and personality, something like that, Axyen wasn't really trying to eavesdrop (even though that made no sense considering he was in a conversation with them.) Axyen noticed Tristian mention that there are more alcohol in the Muggle World when compared to the Wizarding World. Even though it made no sense, for some reason that sentence made Axyen feel like a 'Grown up' though of course the twelve(12) year old would have weird thoughts like that when talking about things he wasn't allowed to have.

Axyen noticed Tristan mention a snack that's a container of cheese, that you spray into your mouth. Axyen instantly tried to guess what this snack would be called and Cheese Spray instantly came to mind. The thought of some kind of Cheese Spray weirded out Axyen completely, it sounded like something that nobody should recommend, and even Tristan suggested not trying it out. Axyen would perhaps try it out of curiosity. "That... doesn't really..." Axyen paused for a second to readjust his posture before continuing. "It just sounds...." Axyen paused again, looking for the right word. "It just sounds... not nice..." Axyen said. That was the nicest way Axyen could put it.
