Anyone is able to sign up to this event during the Summer. Everyone is allowed to make an event, the official Summer Camp does not get precedent to run over other things although it is the official Summer event. Also remember, you cannot be in two places at once, so if you attend a Summer Ball or gathering you cannot attend Summer Camp (if it is run at the same time).

oh, so the camp is optional? I thought it was compulsory. Sorry for the inconvenience

If they happen at the same time - the ball and the summer camp, players will not be able to go to both and they will have to decide which they are attending.

Summer camp is something players can attend but it is not something that they are required to attend. Players may decide to go home and spend the summer with their family. Because it is difficult to have reasons to be together for roleplay we invented summer camp as a reason for players to get together.
