Mark speaks | Mark's thoughts

"Oh, I see. My older brother doesn't annoy me. I think I annoy him sometimes. But it's ok. I know he loves me." Mark says simply.

Mark was sad that he and Lionel couldn't eat ice cream right at this moment, but knew that he was right. Lucky for him, they'd be able to see each other later. He than sadly said,
"Ya, your right."

Mark nodded his head. What Lionel said is true. They were somewhat friends. They need to learn more about each other in order for them to become best friends. And Mark knows that this is going to happen, for sure.

"Yep! It's also going to happen. If we keep on meeting here, we'll be able to become better friends." Mark happily says.

He also got up ready to leave knowing that they'd be able to see each other tomorrow made him very happy.

"Yep. See ya tomorrow." Mark says happily.

He than entered the castle and happily walked to his common room, entered his dorm, and had a hard time sleeping since he was so excited for what would happen tomorrow.

Once he awoke, he hurriedly went to the Great Hall, after changing into his uniform. He ate his breakfast. Than he went to all of his classes, lunch, dinner, than went back out to the Great Lake to see if Lionel was there or not. When he saw Lionel, he ran over to him and happily said,
"Hey, Lionel! How are you?"

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he waited he wondered about all the possible things they could do together and what a great time they would have when suddenly Mark said something so he said

“ oh well that’s good sounds like you have a great bond together how old is your brother? does he go to hogwarts too just like you Mark”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again when he thought about having ice cream tomorrow when they hung out again tomorrow because he really wanted some when he realized that Mark replied so he said

“ oh well I guess we could always have ice tomorrow when we hang out again we have to wait tomorrow for ice cream oh well I’m excited for that we will have a great time together I just know it”


Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he waited he thought about how lucky he was to meet someone like him he was so happy that he had made a new friend and he knew that maybe that they could even be best friends when he realized that Mark had replied so he said

“ yeah your right but we don’t always have to meet here we could always find a different meeting spot right there are plenty of meeting spots around here like the library or the study room even our dorms or the grounds” [\color]

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again so he wondered about other possible meeting spots when he left Lionel didn’t want him to leave but he knew that he had class tomorrow so he got up and left to his dorm and went to sleep and next day after class he went to the Great Lake excited to see him again when suddenly Mark replied so he said

“ hey Mark I’m doing great I’m so happy to see you again how are you doing? what do you want to do? We should get some ice cream if you want some I have been wanting some since yesterdayyyy ”

"Yep! Ya, he does. He's five years older than me. He's in his sixth year." Mark says.

He had no idea if he already mentioned that to Lionel, Mark seemed to forget what he had said to him. But, knew that he probably didn't say anything about it at all, since Lionel asked Mark about his older brother and if he was still at Hogwarts or not.

"Yep! Your not the only one who's excited, Lionel. I am too. Wait, where are we going to get the ice cream from?" Mark says before asking a question he thought would be hard to answer.

The boys will surely have to go somewhere to get the ice cream, but where. Only if Mark had the answer, than he wouldn't be asking Lionel.

"Your right. But, we can't meet in our dorms, since we are in different houses. But, we can meet up at different places around the castle." Mark says.

He wondered if Lionel hadn't realized that Mark is wearing his Hufflepuff uniform. Mark knew Lionel is in Slytherin, since he looked at his uniform before the two even started to talk. Of course, Mark didn't mind making a new friend that's a Slytherin. In fact, he thought it was cool.

"That's nice. Like you, I'm also doing great, and I'm also very happy. Hmmmmmmm, maybe we can talk a bit more and learn more about each other. Obviously we need ice cream." Mark says.

Lionel waited for Mark to say something as he waited he wondered if Marks brother wasn’t in hogwarts which school would he be in be and also he wondered what his brothers name was when suddenly he realized Mark had replied so he said

“ oh he does what house is on is he in the same house as you? Oh well thats not a bad age gap your pretty close anyways are you pretty close like do you have a lot of things in common”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again as he waited he thought about if they should go walk around the castle instead of just staying at the Great Lake when suddenly he noticed that Mark replied so he said

“ I know that your excited too I don’t know where to get ice cream do you know and should we go walk around the castle instead of just sitting at the Great Lake”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again as he waited he thought about if he knew where to get ice cream because he didn’t know he also hoped that they had the flavours they liked when suddenly he noticed that Mark had replied so he said

“ oh your right I forgot that we are not in the same house your in Hufflepuff and I’m in sylthrien oops well do you know any places where we can meet up otho maybe the library or the grounds I don’t really know”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he waited he wondered about all the places they could meet up he couldn’t believe that he forgot that they weren’t in the same house even when they were wearing uniforms when suddenly he realized Mark replied so he said

“ oh thank that nice of you too you your right we do need to learn more about each other what else should we talk about do you know any topics like our favourite color or activity or something you can choose if you want to”

He hoped he answered all of the questions Lionel asked him about his older brother, but had a feeling he might be asking for some more. Mark didn't mind all of the questions.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe we can try the kitchens? Actually, maybe not. I know a place, but that's in Diagon Alley. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe we can search the castle for any secret passageways we find and stay there?" Mark suggests.

He definitely knew that he and Lionel couldn't get anything from the kitchens without sneaking in, but also knew that that wasn't a good idea, but where else could they get ice cream from besides Diagon Alley? Mark had no idea.

"It's ok. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, other than secret passageways, maybe in the courtyard?" Mark once again suggested.

He had no idea where he and Lionel should meet up other than the Great Lake. Mark didn't mind meeting Lionel at the library, but he didn't know where Lione will be since the library is huge.

"Sure. Ummmmmmmmmmm, your a wizard right? Like your from a magical family right? If so, d'you like Quidditch?" Mark suddenly asked.

The young boy now wanted to know if Lionel also liked Quidditch like Mark. It was one of Mark's favorite sports and something that he thinks Lionel should know if he wants to learn more about him. But, Mark also wanted to tell Lionel about himself being a metamorph, but decided to tell him about Quidditch first.

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he did he wondered if Mark would answer all his questions because it was a lot of questions he had asked but he knew Mark was nice so he knew he would when suddenly he noticed that mark had replied so he said

“ oh that good at least you have someone to hang out with and hufflepuff sounds awesome too and well I guess he likes it when you annoy him so do you guys like the same things since your almost the same”

Lionel again waited for Mark to reply as he did he thought about how Mark had answered all his questions and he was glad because now he had the same amount of questions and answers thanks to Mark when suddenly Lionel realized that Mark had replied

“ ok but why not the kitchens we could get sneak in and get free food and I guess we could search the castle for more secret passageways but what if there aren’t any places to go meet dragon sounds sounds good do they have ice cream what about the library do you like to read we could read on there”

Lionel waited again for Mark to reply as he did he thought about why they couldn’t go to the kitchens it sounded like great idea they could get all the free food they wanted but maybe it was because they could get caught and he surely didn’t want that to happen when he suddenly realized that Mark had replied so he said

“ oh the courtyard sounds great it’s gonna be quiet there and no one will be around it’s perfect but we still need to figure out where to get ice cream from and maybe we could eat our ice cream there if we find some that is”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he did he wondered about where they would get ice cream because they hadn’t figured that out yet he hoped that they would because he really wanted some ice cream and that’s all Je could think of ice cream when he suddenly he noticed that Mark had replied so he said

“ yeah I am a wizard and my family of magical and they are also wizards and of course I live quidditch it’s my favourite sport I used to play it with my family all the time back home so you like quidditch and if you do wanna play it some time I haven’t played since i came to hogwarts”

He decided to change his hair color since he wasn't sure if Lionel knows what a metamorph is, so he changed his hair color from black to a very light blonde, almost as if he has white hair, but not exactly the color of white. "I mean, we could, but I don't want to get caught at all. I know a lot of secret passageways that are already around the castle, I can take you to them. Dragon? I think you mean Diagon Alley. The only problem is, we're in Scotland, at school, and Diagon Alley is all the way in London, so we can't go until summer break. Ya, I like reading, what about you?"

Mark hopes that he did understand what Lionel had said, if not, he really didn't know what'd happen. He didn't want to be rude to Lionel at all, but he somewhat couldn't understand what he was saying. He then looked back at Lionel and nodded before saying,
"Yep! But, now that I think of it, we probably won't be able to get any ice cream anytime soon. Unless we are able to take ice cream from when we're eating dessert from the Great Hall and meet up before going to our common rooms, but I don't think that'll work."

He knew that he and Lionel were most likely not going to be getting any ice cream, but if they do, it'll most likely be during dinner in the Great Hall, but they can't sit with each other since they are both in completely different houses.

"Cool! I'm also a wizard, but a wizard born. Different from pure-blood. Your a pure-blood right? Anyways, sure we can play, but only for fun, since I'm not on my house team, and I don't think I'll be on my house team until I get the broom which I really want." Mark says.

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he did he wondered about quidditch he hadn’t played in a long time and her really waited to play and he also was still hungry for ice cream when suddenly he noticed that Mark has replied so he said

“ oh well yeah i guess so not everybody likes that same things oh why don’t wanna try out for your house team I thought you liked quidditch anyways a metamorph isn’t that like when you can morph into things I kinda do oh ok wow your hair just changed colours that awesome”


Lionel waited for Mark to reply again as he waited he thought about why he didn’t want to try out for his house team Lionel was planning to join his house quidditch team maybe it was because they didn’t like quidditch as much as he did when suddenly he realized that Mark had replied so he said

“ oh your right i don’t wanna get caught ethier I guess that means we can’t eat ice cream until the summer oh what passaways do you know about and yeah I love reading how about we go to the library and read together that could be great idea”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again and he waited he thought about how he couldn’t get ice cream Lionel really wanted some ice cream and he didn’t want to wait until summer that’s too long maybe there was another way to get ice cream when suddenly he realized that Mark had replied so he said

“ your right i guess we just have to wait why won’t that work are we not aloud to eat ice cream from the great hall maybe there is something else we could eat instead of ice cream like maybe chocolate or something else what do you think”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he waited he wondered about other desserts they could eat there were so many he could think of chocolate cake cupcakes brownies but which one would he like when suddenly he noticed Mark had replied so he said

“ oh your a wizard too do you like magic too yeah of course just for fun when should we play tommroww oh you don’t have a broom yet me nethier I’m excited for it too anyways are you gonna join the house team when you get your broom or not then we could always just play for fun instead”

Mark hopes that now Lionel understands what a metamorphmagus is since he pretty much didn't understand it, so he hopes that he now does understand it. He also thought it was weird since Lionel did say that he is a wizard, but doesn't know what a metamorphmagus is, which seems pretty weird indeed, but Mark decided to not say anything about it.

"Well, I mean, we are allowed to, but we'll have to wait until dinner since there'll definitely be ice cream. I mean, we could also get some chocolate. My friend Yuta sent me some chocolate from Japan, and it's really good. Maybe I could bring it with me next time so you can try some."

Mark liked the idea of getting ice cream, but he also wondered if Lionel had heard him wrong or not, but he didn't want to sound rude by asking, since he didn't want to lose Lionel as one of his new friends.

"Well duh, of course, I like magic. Ya, we could play for fun, but we might need to tell a prefect or someone to figure out if we are allowed to or not. I'm definitely going to join my house team after I get the dream broom! Are you going to join your house team once you get a broom too?"

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he waited he wondered about why he didn’t have a broom yet did he not just get one he had so many questions he wanted to ask him but he didnt want to bembard him with questions so he didn’t he then notcied that Mark had replied so he said

“ oh I see what happened to your other broom did it break or something oh me yeah me me too I just wanted an upgrade oh so that’s what metamorphmagus means well I didn’t know because I don’t have it but it’s sounds really cool what else can you do with it I wish I had it too your very lucky to have it”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again as he did he thought about metamorphmagus and wish he had it if he did he could ice cream with it since he could change his apparnce and he won’t get caught when suddenly he realized that Mark had replied so he said

“ oh ok I guess we could get ice cream yayy I’m so happy I was thinking you could use your power to change your appearance and you could sneak in to the kitchen and get some ice cream from there too right and you wouldn’t get caught”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply again as he did he thought about how he finally was gonna get ice cream he was so happy he had been craving it for 2 days and now he could finally get some when suddenly he realized that Mark had replied so he said

“ wait did you say choclate I love chocolate could you please bring some what kind is it my favourite is milk choclate or white chocolate and it’s from Japan that sounds so good how about you what’s your favourite kind of chocolate”

Lionel waited for Mark to reply as he waited he wondered about the chocolate he loved chocolate especially milk chocolate he loved milk chocolate and from Japan was even better he was so exited when suddenly he noticed that Mark had replied so he said

“ oh yeah I think we are aloud too and yes after I get my broom upgraded I will join my house team too because it’s my favourite sport and why wouldn’t I join great that you wanna join too your gonna have such a great time”
