Closed Detention of Imposters pv Ava Winchect

Octavius had nothing else to say. His son lied to his face, summoned a venomous snake, and blamed others. Could he really let Clark slide with this? But then Ava confessed to the Lava Lamp.

"Miss Winchect. I'm disappointed in you. You have been involved in the destruction of personal property, but you have also been a target of my son, so, I'm a bit on the fence about what to do." He stared at the two children in front of him and a remorseful sigh was heaved from his chest. "Miss Winchect. Clark. You two are expected to come tomorrow. You both have detention. Clark, I can't believe this is the second detention I've had to give you in less than a month."

He hated this moment before having to give detention. It made him feel guilty, but he needed to teach the children how to follow the rules.

"Miss Winchect, I want you to head down to the nurse so she can check you over to make sure the snake didn't bite you. Clark, go to your dormitory. I will see you tomorrow. I can't believe I have to say this again. I'm disappointed in you two." What was he going to do tomorrow? Clark didn't set anything on fire that required patching and he didn't want to read another essay.

Ava bowed her head. While she didn't regret breaking the lava lamp, she did...know she didn't know where that sentence was going. Honestly, she wasn't sorry for any of her actions other than the fact she had frozen at the snake and not retaliated. Not that she knew how to get rid of the snake. She was somewhat glad that the professor had stepped in. On the one hand, she wasn't bitten by the snake because of his quick actions. On the other hand, she had been caught up in trouble, the current problem being the lava lamp.

In the world away from her thoughts, she refocused just in time to hear her--their--punishment. She scowled of the prospect of having to share a detention with Clark, but she wanted to smirk when she heard that it was his second this month. She had never had luck as terrible as that, much to her relief.

While she was sent to the nurse to make sure she wasn't bitten by the snake, Clark was sent back to his dormitory to wait for the detention. She made the decision not to go to the nurse, deciding it would be better not to see someone who had been with her on...the night. Unless the nurse had changed... "Wait, did you say she? What happened to Frogge?" Clearly, there was another staff change she had missed.
