Contemplation and Convention PV Alana Dibble Finished

Parselmouth is in bold.
Sheer joy hugged Kiana, and the atmosphere began to lighten. The threatening cloud that loomed over her just minutes ago was now dispelled. Kiana listened carefully to everything Alana said. At this point, she'd already considered Alana as a friend. A friend, Kiana thought, is someone like Alana. Who understands me. Who doesn't want me for money.

"You seem to know so much. I've a lot of learning to do," Kiana remarked with a slight laugh. It felt nice to feel free again. Sitting next to Alana, she could feel a blossom in her heart, something that had lay dormant and never grown in her heart for a long time.

The flower of friendship. Combined with the scenery, aroma, breeze, and lazy drifting of the clouds, it created the perfect vista in Kiana's eyes. Everything was perfect. Everything was in order. Everything was just right. Perhaps today was her day after all. I'll have to remember this day, she thought, the day I discovered what true friendship was.

Tempus fugit, as her father always liked to say, rang in her head. She turned her head up to a large, regal clock. The time haunted her. Such a beautiful moment, coming to an end.

"Well, Alana, it was nice meeting you. I hope to see you around, and I suggest you head to class as well, my friend." Kiana said with a warm smile, gathering her books and heading off, feel content.
