CL New Friends=New Adventures IC RP PV <Invite Only>

Ivy listened to Madison gush over her mothers articles. She didn’t admit she hadn’t read any of her mothers articles so she just nodded along. From what she knew, her mother just wrote about current events, nothing interesting.

When Madison mentioned sticking together at Hogwarts, she felt nervous. She was excited to have this possibility of a friend group, of course. She just… well. She was new to this. Plus, what if they were in different houses? That would be pretty difficult To manage.

She ate a few sweets while listening to the stories the others told. She sat there reading her book. She could feel the train moving and could feel a slight breeze. The windows weren’t open though. Ivy figured it was just another wizarding thing she didn’t understand. She was quite nervous to head there but she knew she could handle it. She looked out the window time and time again until she could see signs of Hogwarts. She looked out the window, extremely mesmerized by the sight of the castle in the distance. Madison mentioned it but Ivy could barely hear her. She hadn’t known she was a witch until her first instance of magic, so she hadn’t really learnt about Hogwarts until after most people had learnt. Her mother kept it from her for years, in fear she’d be a squib. But she wasn’t, and here she was, in a train, with other people, ready to head into her future.

Madison stared at the castle until the train stops. Soon she was sitting in a boat, going across the lake towards the castle with Cassie and Ivy in the same boat as she was. "Why don't we promise each other, that even if we get sorted into different houses, we stay friends, stick together and help each other out if we need it" she says to Cassie and Ivy with a smile, hoping that they agree. The boats soon stopped and she followed the others through the front of the castle and up to the staircase in front of the doors that lead to the Great Hall. She stands on the staircase next to Cassie and Ivy, listening as a person, who she could only guess was a professor, started talking. The professor was talking about what will happen when they walk through the doors of the Great Hall, and all about the houses they could be sorted into. The students soon start lining up and then start walking into the Great Hall. Madison was standing with Cassie and Ivy as she looked up at the ceiling and saw all the floating candles along with the night sky. She soon finds herself standing at the front with the others, listening as people get called up and sorted. She soon hears her name being called out, so she walks up the stairs, sits down on the stool and gets the hat placed on her head. "Hmm difficult, very clever mind, not a bad flyer either, though very nervous and has a fair bit to live up to I see. I'm going to say, HUFFLEPUFF". Madison smiles brightly and wonders over to the Hufflepuff table as she is greeted by the Hufflepuff Prefect, along with some of the older students. As she watched her new friends get sorted, she started feeling nervous for them, would they all end up in the same house, or different houses? Either way she knew she wanted to stay friends with Ivy and Cassie since they were so nice, friendly and the only friends she had at the moment

After some listening to the two others' words, Cassie starts to imagine her future life at Hogwarts. She imagines sitting on the high wooden stool, with the old sorting hat on her head. It kept suggesting another house, but Cassie repeats again and again, 'Ravenclaw, please, Ravenclaw!' and the finally, the sorting hat will ask, 'Ravenclaw, eh? If you're sure, then Ravenclaw!' the other students from Ravenclaw will clap loudly and stand up to greet her. Perhaps she will find some friends among them. Who knows?

After listening to Madison Benett's words about her parents, Cassie decides to talk more about her family. 'My parents were both great students in Hogwarts. My father and mother were always top two in grades. They became opponents in study, but dates in real life. My father was a one-fourth goblin, causing some people to laugh at him, but my mother never. They were both prefects and my father was a broom racing captain, whereas my mother was a Quidditch captain and a beater. They became date since they are in their first year. They went to the Spring Ball that year together, and became the most pretty and handsome students there. I am really proud of them. My father works in the Ministry of Magic, my mother is an editor in Daily Prophet.'

(On the train) Madison smiles and listens to what Cassie has to say about her own parents "awe that sounds so cute Cassie" she says with a smile. (Back in the Great Hall) Madison watches as her two friends get sorted too and once all the sorting is done, she tucks into the amazing food in front of her whilst talking to Ivy and some of the other first years, along with some of the old years as well. She looks over to see if she can find Cassie since she couldn't find her at the Hufflepuff table. Once she found her she smiles at her before going back to her food 'I wonder if Cassie will not want to hang out anymore now that she's in a different house. I hope she will though cause she's an awesome person and a good friend' Madison thinks to herself as she eats. After eating, everyone went off to their respective dorms and, as Madison lay in her bed, she looked up at the roof and wondered what the next few days would hold. Would she, Ivy and Cassie get up to mischief, would they meet new people, learn new things and maybe play some Quidditch? Madison knew it was a long shot since she was only a first year, but it would be amazing to do so, maybe even teach her friends how to play too
