Study Time

"Thank you very much, you've really helped a lot right now. I hope they will help. Glad I didn't sleep that much."

She couldn't help but wonder if I should buy a book. After all, they were in the library. But then she remembered that her mother was going to send the 4th book in the series and gave up.

"Yes, I am quite hungry. One can get hungry while sleeping. I learned that now. I don't know where you use it but."

Pandora heard him chuckle at their conversation. Maybe they had the same thoughts. She was happy when she thought about it.She liked being with like-minded people.

"I don't want to study on holidays and the professors will probably give homework again. And it will increase. It's too bad to even think about"

No, not because he likes to study. Didn't want to do homework at the New Year's Party. She had a right to have some fun, after all.

When she saw grass growing in her bag, she thought that her rabbit would be hungry and probably wouldn't be able to eat anything.

"Do you think I can steal cabbage from the common room? I won't do anything bad. Just curiosity" Curiously, she asked Gabriel.

He looked over at her, grinning at her cabbage thought. "Steal some cabbage? I don't see why not." He snickered. He thought about what she said about doing homework on break, at least she would be somewhere she'd have fun. He probably had nothing better to do than actually do the homework.

He had an idea, one he had since he came when the library was crowded and noisy. People were just so bothersome. It might take some taking to convince Pandora, but Gabe didn't see any reason not to give it a shot. "So, I have a great idea, now bear with me on this." He paused for a minute, thinking what to say that would convince her. After a moment's thought, he continued. "You have homework to do before you leave, and well I want to come back to the library without...people." He spoke at a whisper, with his head lowered. "What about coming back here at 10pm? So, you can do homework and I can read in peace, perhaps helping you with the assignment too. I finished it." He gave her an assuring grin, hoping he made a point that this was a good idea.

He hoped she would come; it would be better with her there. He knew he wanted to come to the library late at night since he stepped foot in here for the first time. Today seemed the perfect time.

"Maybe I'm a bunny-girl casting a spell to hide my ears and fluffy tail. And to stay in shape I should eat cabbage every hour maybe. "

She didn't understand why he was exaggerating so much. It's not that hard to say I have a rabbit, she said to herself. She realized that she felt and spoke differently around Gabriel.

Pandora hesitated a little when Gabriel told her to come back at 10 p.m. A hero would break the rules once in a while, and time was of the essence to him right now. That's why it didn't take that long for her to reply. She whispered in Gabriel's ear.

"Hmm, library during off-hours. I'm not a homework lover, but right now I'm breaking the rules to breathe. See you at 10 o'clock then."

Pandora came out of the library and was already drowning in thought. What did she think of Gabriel, where she was contemplating her, why she felt awkward around her, and it was like if I had to go to the common room first or they'd just cross into my great room. I guess it won't be until 10 o'clock, she said to herself. She dragged her feet and continued on her way.

He felt himself grin that she agreed to his brilliant plan. Honestly, he wasn't sure why she agreed to come with him, he didn't take her to be a rule breaker. He was feeling something he wouldn't admit to anyone. He felt himself hoping she wanted to come to see him. He knew she wanted to get her homework done, but even the littlest bit of wanting to see him was enough for Gabe. Nonetheless, he would be seeing her at 10 o'clock, he was excited about that.


He put the last of the borrowed books on the shelf and just sat down for a moment. He needed to get to dinner, but he seemed to think people would see how content he was; He felt like dancing around with joy, not sure why he felt like this. He hoped no one heard what they were planning, not many people were around so he assumed not. Only Pandora would be able to see the mischief in his eyes. Today had been one of the best days he'd had. The study session had turned into a fun day, and there was more to come. He walked out of the library and towards the Great hall. See ya later books.
