Bailey complemented Kim, not being able to resist doing so, even though she had a vague understanding that he did not particularly enjoy being complemented, especially for his looks or his ‘pretty face’ totally just slipped a Disney little mermaid line into my post 😂 at least i find myself funny haha
Kim simply nodded in response, and ever the gentlemen, wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her towards him and making baileys heart flutter. She smiled at Kim, as they made their way away from the fireplace.
After they had finished introductions, Kim had had enough talking for a bit, or so it seemed, and he steered them away from the mingling peoples.
A now familiar face them showed up, belonging to the one and only @damion white. Bailey smiled and said “aww thank you Damion- you are quite dashing tonight as well!”
Bailey held onto Kim’s arm as they talked to Damion, but she let her eyes wander as the fourth and second year chatted.
Bailey spotted a dashing young lad, with a pretty girl. From this distance Bailey could not quite see if she knew him, but luckily he found his way over to their group after a short while.
When the boy approached Bailey let go of Kim’s arm to gently curtsy, and smile before saying “hello! I do not believe I know you- what is your name? My name is Bailey.. Bailey Glade! Third year, Ravenclaw!”
gesturing to the boys behind her bailey would continue speaking. “the boy with the white and gold suit and blond pink hair is my best friend, kim Aoki, a second year Griffindor, and the other boy is my friend Damion White, a fourth year and one of my fellow Ravenclaw!!”
Looking the boy up and down bailey would smoke again and said “I love your outfit- was it made custom for you? It fits you beautifully!!”

Lloyd excused himself from the presence of Eloise, leaving her on her own, and instead went on a quest of finding himself some new friends. He spotted three people, one girl and two boys, talking together slightly apart from the other mingling peoples, and the girl looked a tad curious about him- after they made eye contact and exchanged a quick smile he made his way in their general direction.
When he was quite close the let go of her date and possibly her boyfriend’s arm to drop into a gentle curtesy in his direction. Lloyd grinned and bowed, before extending a hand for her to shake. After shaking hands and after the girl, Bailey, introduced herself and the boys behind her, Lloyd smiled wider and said with his think French accent “hogwarts then? My name is Lloyd Matthews Thomas, and I am in my third year at Beauxbatons.”
Flashing a cheeky grin at his new friend Bailey he asked “not your boyfriend, the blond pink haired one? I would have guessed you were more than just… best friends as you said!”
Lloyd laughed and smiled, showing that he was simply joking. Though… the girl and the boy, Bailey and Kim…. He would have thought they were dating. They had drawn his attention the moment they entered, and they - with Kim having reached around Bailey’s waist and pulling her closer, to them obviously being at home in the presence of the other, all things pointing to them having chemistry.
Bailey drew his attention out of his mind, with a question about his outfit.
He smiled, and replied excitedly. “my sister made it- she makes all of my clothes. She wants to be a fashion designer; and I love what she makes so I volunteered to be a test subject!! I get personalized clothes for free, and she gets a free test subject!!”
He smiled again, glanced down at his shoes, and then said “your dress is quite stunning on you as well- trying to impress someone?” he winked before laughing again and saying “it is really pretty- where did you get it?”

Bailey was glad she had met this new boy, Lloyd. He was an interesting guy, and sadly wasn’t from Hogwarts. Bailey smiled at Lloyd, and blushed when he mentioned that he would have guess Kim was her boyfriend.
“no, we’re just best friends-“ Bailey said with a laugh.
She quickly changed the topic to his gorgeous suit, and he seemed quite excited to talk about his suit, so it worked for them both.
“that’s wonderful!!! Your sister is truly talented!! I’d love to meet her one day, she sounds like a treasure! Give her my complements on her art that is your suit!”
Bailey laughed again, a light blush coloring her cheeks when Lloyd complemented her own dress.
She glanced at Kim, but he didn’t seem to be paying much attention to her, or Lloyd. He was deep in his conversation with Damion, which- that was ok with Bailey, or at least that’s what she told herself.
“thank you! I went shopping with my grandmother, and she got this tailored so it would fit me right. And I do hope that I impressed someone tonight- make them appreciate muggleborns more.”
Baileys voice dropped whilst saying muggle Borns, but that was natural instinct, with the fact that she was in the presence of pure blooded witches and wizards.
Bailey and Kim left the party a little later, having thanked their hosts, and made their way to the fireplace again.
“I’m ready. These party’s are definitely a lot to take in!” Bailey said cheerfully.
She nodded at Kim and his instructions- he really was adorable when he was reassuring her.
She accepted his offer to leave first, and throwing a handful of floo powder in the fireplace, she stepped in and took one last glimpse of the room before she was whisked away.
