Action Of Mischief

“Luke is my name, and my last name is Whitlock. At your service.” The boy, who I now knew to be Luke said in response to my question, and moments later, I heard Mr. Frogge respond to my inquiry by saying “Saturday is good.” Well that sounded nice since I didn’t have to reschedule my meeting with the boys and I was just going to get a bit less dueling practice as a result of my detention. Luke on the other hand, didn’t seam very on board with this idea. “I am Luke Whitlock,” he began all of a sudden, “and I am not gonna waste three to five hours of my time cleaning your cauldrons!” “Pardon?” I asked upon hearing him say this. Wasn’t this the same boy that asked to be disciplined a few minutes ago?

“Well, I don’t think cleaning my cauldrons is a waste of time.” Mr. Frogge said in response to Luke’s sudden outburst. “Without clean cauldrons, I can’t produce the potions I need to heal students. A dirty cauldron can produce poisons instead of potions, you know. It’s very important to know how to clean your cauldron. I think you will learn a lot if you help me.” “He’s right.” I piped in. “Dirty cauldrons do indeed produce poisons instead of cures and if a potion is brewed in a dirty cauldron, then upon being consumed it could cause serious side effects to it’s consumer, something nobody wants. But by all means, if you don’t wish to waste your time doing such an utterly pointless task like cleaning dirty cauldrons, then by all means, feel free to skip your detention. However, I would highly advise against doing so because in the event that you do skip out, then you’ll likely be getting much more then a detention.” I then turned to Mr. Frogge before asking him “Alright, so I’m free to go now, right? If you haven’t decided on a specific yet, then you can owl me the details for the detention later on.”
Mentioning @Luke Whitlock and @Polonius Frogge.
