"Quid-?" Dove was tired of not knowing anything about this world, so she just said, "Yea. Kind of." Charlie then announced that she was going to be right back. As Dove waited for her to return, she began thinking.
She didn't know anything about anything at Hogwarts. She'd bet there were so few other people who were raised with non-wizards and witches there that she'd stick out like a sore thumb. A nerdy, stupid, clumsy sore thumb. She didn't like the idea of that.
And what if her housemates didn't like her?! She didn't know what house she'd get; Gryffindor and Slytherin were the only two she'd heard of, and there were supposedly four.
And what if it was like a family thing? Her father was apparently a Slytherin. What if she were a Slytherin? They apparently had a... reputation about the school.
Even though Dove did truly like Charlie, she'd be just fine if she didn't come back...
But she did.
And she had paper and a quill in her hands, as long as a request to draw Dove.
"Draw me?" She asked, surprised. She couldn't believe someone would actually willingly draw her; Even though she wasn't particularly ugly, her face was nothing special. But she supposed it could be quite fun. "Sure... Sure, you can draw me."

"Nope. Nope nope nope. Bad decision. We're not doing this."

A cheerful smile erupted on Charlie's face, she began to prepare herself. The quietness set her in her muse, and sat across the corridor, staring at Dove while she began to sketch. Her quill squibbled before she continued the conversation.

"Aye, Quidditch is a game where you sit 'n a broom." Her hand moved in a circular motion while she flickered her eyes back and forth between the page and Dove. "'N try tuh score points in a goal. N'thin too fancy."

Charlie never wanted to try it herself, she'd seen too many injuries happening during the game. She had heard some students have lost their memory as well. It was definitely something she didn't want anytime soon.

"Nasty plays though," she'd be looking towards the outside now, "Slytherin plays a mean game so if yeh decide teh join, careful." She'd shake her quill at her while she said her warning. She remembered a friend of hers wanting to become a Broom Racer, his name was Colin. She'd stop for a moment and couldn't recall the last time they'd talked. Her motives were to hopefully catch up with him soon with their friend Quinn within the next week. "Yeh plan on joinin' any clubs?"

"Clubs?" Dove hadn't considered that. "I, uh... I don't know. I do wonder what clubs the school has..." She sat there thoughtfully for a moment. "Eh." She shrugged again. "Perhaps I'll join a club, or maybe I won't." She took a bite of her chocolate frog, watching Charlie's quill dance around the page. "You're amazing at drawing! I like to draw a bit meself, so maybe we can hang out a bit more at Hogwarts this year?"
Another thing she and Charlie had in common! She decided to continue talking. It was going well for her so far.
"Slytherin? Yes, me father was in that house. He ain't played Quidditch, though. At least I don't suppose so; I've reason to believe he woulda' told me." She paused for a moment. "I know for a fact, though, I ain't goin' in Hufflepuff." Dove shook her head, followed by three tsks. "Nasty badgers, me father told me. Ain't nothin' but trouble." Hoping Charlie didn't find her weird for saying that, she nodded. "You got any house rivalries? Like, how are Slytherin and Hufflepuff to you? Me father might'a been a tad biased. There were some cruel kids back in his day. Hopin' there ain't in mine!" She grinned.

"Nope. Nope nope nope. Bad decision. We're not doing this."
