@George Henry
It seemed that this young boy who was so immature and stinky happened to grow up to someone who was kind and thoughtful. Bloom thought about his offer and quickly shook her head. "No, it's okay," she said, looking at George with a small smile. "I am just going to own what happened," she said, unsure of what that meant herself. Was she just going to dress in her bathing suit for all time or was she going to do something about it? She had no clue whatsoever.

It wasn't until he grabbed his shirt and pulled it off over his head, giving it to her. Bloom grabbed it and looked at the shirt. It was definitely old, but it was something. She looked at him, reached over to the Hufflepuff and went into give him a big hug, if he would accept. "Thank you!" she said, taking in his offer for his shirt. She did not need any more.

Jack Warren. Now that was a face everyone knew, even if they did not know him personally. Bloom had no idea why he had such a face, but there was rumors that he could have been in a cult and that was his entry mark. There were so many rumors to think of, but to think that he could have gotten rid of such a scar with magic... why keep it? It reminded her then of Aurelia and how she kept the scar on her neck from Howard.

"I'm perfectly imperfect, thank you very much! And if I shared who it was, then it'll only cause more trouble for me. It'll just be an endless nightmare," she said, thinking about what retaliation would look like. "Look, I want her to pay, but I don't want to go through anything else," she added.

George furrowed his brow, doubly unsure of what she meant by owning what happened. He'd heard of his brother just having to 'own' his mistakes before. But it meant taking responsibility - what was Bloom taking responsibility for? Having all her clothes burned? It wasn't like she'd done anything to deserve it - being prissy wasn't free license to burn all your things, otherwise Ivy would not own a single item of clothing that George hadn't burned to ash.

"You're going to own what happened?" George repeated incredulously. She truly was suffering a mental break if she thought she was going to be owning only that swimsuit for the remainder of the summer. His confusion made him vulnerable when she swept in for the hug, feeling a bit uncomfortable being squeezed by the almost-stranger. He at least did not struggle, and even lifted one arm up to give her a pat on the back, his other hand still curled over his chest to cover himself and his marked shoulder. "It's nothing. Quite literally."

The boy nodded with understanding as she mentioned not wanting to face retaliation. It was understandable, not wanting to get bogged down by drama, especially entering your sixth year and dealing with all of the trouble of the Hexwizard tournament. George, however, had no such commitments.

"I understand," he said softly. But maybe he did not - because he was already thinking about asking around to find out exactly who had done that to Bloom. He looked aside at the water, in thought for a moment, before a cool breeze carried by and reminded him of the donation he'd given Bloom. "I sort of need to go get another shirt now. I can come back if you're just going to be out here... owning what happened. I can't promise I'll be any good company, though. Glad you can bear the stink of the shirt, by the way."

"outlandishly gay for boys"
