“How are there this many trophies? Do they just somehow expand the room when they win one more than the shelves they have already in it. “
Pax shrugged, having never really thought about it. "Well, it seems that Hogwarts win trophies pretty regularly, so I'd suspect they'd be enlargening the room pretty often."
They continued on in silence, the only sounds being the squeaking of cloths against the metal trophies or the footsteps as the three students moved to another shelf.
It felt like the night had dragged on and on, with the three of them making small awkward conversations, and Pax exchanging small, subtle looks at Haley.
Finally, they had finished, and Pax didn't even want to know the time.
"Thanks," They had to admit, without the prefect's help, this cleaning process would've taken so much longer.
Throwing the cloth down and wiping their hands, they waited for Haley to finish up. "Come on, Haley, I wanna go, we've been here long enough."
