New friendships closed

Aruna smiles finally realising that this is when she starts making two new amazing friends

“Well my hobbies are art, music, stargazing, swimming, and knowing odd facts”

she then smiles rubbing the back of her head nervously looking at the two girls hoping she didn’t sound to weird. She then pulled out her sketchbook handing it to the two girls blushing as there were very detailed drawings of lots of things like animals, people, landscapes and more.

“This is kind of what I do in my free time it’s not that good but it’s what makes be feel relaxed and happy” she smiles gently…

Emily heard Aruna speak, so she stopped eating pocky and listened. Then she said, "Ah, thats cool. We kinda like the same things, I guess."

Emily then saw that Aruna was handing both her and the other girl her sketchbook. Emily decided to take it and look at it. She opened it and saw all of her drawings. Emily was amazed. She noticed that both her and Aruna can draw pretty well. Emily then took out her sketchbook and handed it to Aruna. Then Emily said,

"These drawings are amazing! You can look at mine if you want to. Their drawings of people, things, my family, characters, and other things that I forgot that's it there."

She then handed Aruna's sketchbook to the other girl while handing her own book to Aruna. Emily couldn't really eat anymore pocky, which was sad. But she'll be fine. Hopefully.

Emily wondered if she'll be making two new friends. She hopes she is. Cause the only friends she has is her cousins and their friends plus Zero Kiryu who hates her cousin Kaname. Emily always wondered why he hated Kaname. She even asked him and Zero told her why. She was shocked but then when she told Senri, Senri said that he figured that out. So did Kaname.

Having just received a chocolate frog, Işık began to listen in silence. She had zero knowledge of these matters. Emily handed the notebook to the Işık. Işık was shocked when he opened the notebook. She thought Aruna had a talent for painting.

"All of them are beautiful.They look real.Emily, if you don't mind, can I have a look at your pictures? "

She smiled involuntarily. But this time Işık didn't hate it. Because for the first time, he thought it was nothing to be ashamed of. Back to the two of them again.

"So what building are you in? I've never seen you?"

It wasn't a lie. Işık was almost absent from the lessons in the common room. Most of the time, she would either ride a broom or take his bow and arrow and work. It was normally like that. These were mostly supported by her aunt. She would assist Işık in most of her workouts.

As Işık thought about this, she realized that there was silence.

"So what do you hate the most?"

Işık wondered if she had squeezed too hard. Normally they would never be worn. But Hogwarts had changed him. And she wasn't bothered by it.

Aruna smiled in agreement to Emily’s art also being amazing then looks at isik.

“Yeah I agree with there art being amazing aswell and honestly I don’t know to much about the wizard in world or Hogwarts I only learnt about it a few weeks ago you see my whole family doesn’t have any magic but I’m the first so this is all amazing for me”

She smiled laughing nervously not know if this was common within Hogwarts.

“I heard there are lots of animals there that I probably would have never seen before so I’m excited about that”

she laughs happily looking at them both thinking how cool they are…

Once both girls took the sketchbooks she went back to eating pocky. She ate three more pocky when one of the girls spoke. Emily listened then said,

"Ya, sure. I don't mind at all! Aruna can you pass me my sketchbook back? Also, thanks Aruna!"

Emily looked at her pocky of pocky and noticed that there were a lot more pocky left. She then ate three more but then stopped when Aruna spoke again. Emily heard the other girl speak too. Emily listened to both of them, then said,

"Ya, since your Muggle Born, Aruna, they're will be a lot of animals you haven't seen before. As for building, what d'you mean? Anyway, what house d'you guys think you'll be sorted into? I think either Slytherin or Gryffindor. But maybe Ravenclaw."

Emily knew that she said too much, so she stopped talking and ate three more pocky. Then she heard the first girl speak again. Emily listened then said,

"Thats simply, really. I hate my aunt and uncle. Their mean to me. They always give me threats. Before I left, my aunt gave me a threat that if I don't get sorted Intl Slytherin, she'll send me a holler."

What Emily said was true. She mostly does speak the truth, unless she doesn't want to. She then went back to eating pocky. She knew that Senri would be sending her some more pocky later.

Işık smiled and took the notebook from Emily's hand. Işık, who could not draw even a single line, could not believe that such pictures existed.

"The pictures of the two of you are very nice. You compared them very well."

Işık returned the notebook to Emily. Işık chose to remain silent for a while. She focused on Aruna's speech.

"I don't know about muggles at all. For example, are there unicorns in the muggle world? Or pygme puffs"

For some reason, Işık felt ignorant about these matters. She was a little upset but didn't show it. Surprised by what Emily had said, he turned to her.


"This is very bad. This is psychological pressure. For example, my family wants me to be an Auror. But I want to be a seeker. When it comes to the future, I always discuss it with my family."

Thinking that he was talking about himself too much, Işık shyly put his head in her arms. She hated the feeling of shame. Without raising her head, she spoke:

"So what do you hate most, Aruna?"

Thinking that she was drawing attention to herself, Işık slowly lifted her head. She had a hard time not yelling that she hated embarrassment.

Once the girl took Emily's sketchbook she looked at the girl and wondered what she'll say. Then she heard her and listened. Emily then said,

"Thanks! I'm thinking about drawing Zero, since he's not here I can draw him! He won't get mad if he doesn't know!"

Once Emily got her sketchbook back, she took out a quill and a ink bottle. Then she started to draw Zero Kiryu. She pictured him in her mind, so it was easy for her to draw him. Emily then heard her speak again. She listened, then said,

"I don't think so. Those are in our world. Also, thats interesting. We're completely different. I guess thats good."

Emily went back to drawing Zero. She made sure that he looks a lot like himself, so she drew a picture of him with some things from the manga, since he was in the Vampire Knight manga.

Once Emily was all done drawing him, she showed the other two girls the drawing and said, "This is a drawing of Zero. You can see him more in the Vampire Knight manga and once the anime comes out, you can see him in there too!"

Emily wondered what the two girls would say to reply to that. She knew that she was speaking a lot, so she went back to eating pocky and she stayed quite until someone else spoke.

Seriosly, I thought there were both worlds. They have the dragon though, don't they?

Işık had almost fallen in love when Emily showed them her drawing. back to Emily:

"I want to marry your drawing, how much would you sell it for?"

Then LIşık looked at the two girls. She laughed lightly to let them know it was a joke. But he thought to himself that if I had the chance, I would marry. Then she continued:

"What are your families doing? So what would you two want to be? I think you two would make very good painters."

When he realized that he was talking too much, Işık was embarrassed, even though he didn't want to. Did she like it now? If Emily and Aruna turn away from him because of it.

Işık, putting her head in her arms once more, felt herself blushing. It couldn't be love. I hate embarrassment, said Işık. She needed to breathe a little. She shook his head and turned to the girls.

"I'm going to wander around the trend a bit. i need to breathe"

Before Emily and Aruna could say anything, she took her bow and arrow and left.

(It won't do anything with the bow and arrow)

Emily heard the girl speak again, so she listened then said, "No, they don't have what we have. They think everything we have is a myth."

She then saw the girls expression when she saw Zero. Emily had a feeling that she knows what she's gonna say. And when she spoke, she knew that she was gonna say that. She then said,

"I had a feeling you were gonna say that! I don't really want to sell my drawings. But, you can see more drawings of him in Vampire Knight!"

Emily also knew that she was joking, but she still said it anyway. She then heard her speak again, so Emily listened then said, "My family works for the Ministry. My older brother doesn't really, tho. But he will soon."

Emily then went back to eating pocky. She then took back her sketchbook and put it in her bag. Once she was all done eating pocky, she put the box away and took out a book. Emily then noticed that the first girl left. Emily didnt really know why but she also was glad that she wasn't alone. She had Aruna which she was glad. She wondered if her and Aruna could be good friends. She didn't know if her and the other girl could be friends, tho.

She gasped as the Işık left the compartment. She was relieved when she started breathing normally. He started talking to herself.

Ok Işık, there must be a logical explanation for this. Maybe you're excited because it's your first time to have friends. Remember, you've never seen anyone your own age. That's why you're ashamed. Yes, it definitely should be.

The Işık began to look outside. It was almost dark. She realized he had a few hours left. She took a long breath again and made his way to the compartment.

Will their friendship continue? Would he ever see Emily and Aruna again after getting off the train and sitting at the tables? Or would their friendship go along with the train?


While thinking about this, Işık just realized that he was at the door of the compartment. She slipped through the door and sat down without saying a word. She repositioned his bow and arrow at the top.

Işık, who took her book out of her bag and continued to read, chose not to speak even a little bit.

It could not be said that she had read the book, because Işık was struggling with the thoughts in her mind.
