"Atheeena." Colin drawled out her name as he gave Donald a sly look. "Goddess of wisdom, memorising other people's books! No wonder she fancies Ravenclaw. And goddess of war --- best keep your eye on this one, Donald!"

Colin watched with interest as his dorm mate crumpled up a bit of paper. He snorted as he watched the wadded paper sail through the air and land smack on the back of some Gryff's head. "That was a lovely cast! Power and precision! Next time, make it a bludger!"

There was something vaguely familiar about the Gryff, however. A stack of books piled up on the desk and a satchel full of even more. Colin loved to read, but he had to wonder how a body could carry so many books around all at once!

And then it struck Colin as the mass of long black hair turned to glare accusingly at him and Donald. It was Black Charlie --- Charlie from the train; as opposed to Red Charlie, Charlie Grace from the Owlery. "Well, that explains the whole library of books on her desk, anyway!" Colin drove his elbow into Donald's ribs. "Donald! That's Charlie Edwards --- don't you remember Black Charlie from the train?"

Then she turned away from them in a huff. Colin said, rather loudly so that Charlie could hear: "See? Now you've done it! You've officially angered a Gryff! You'll have an enemy for life, now! You'll have her whole side of the room against us!" He gave Donald another teasing jab, just to drive the point home.

And when she quickly turned again, her look this time was one of injury rather than anger. Colin's own face fell. Twas just a bit of wadded paper, right? No malice in it? Or was there something more to Donald's choice of target?

Colin's gaze shifted from Donald to his book. The breeze had opened it to a particular page. There scrawled in letters clear enough to read were the words No mention of McCollum witch-hunters. McCollum witch-hunters? What did that mean? Donald was still ducked down a bit, which gave Colin a clear line of sight over towards Athena. He glanced over at her. Had she noticed that notation? She seemed to have noticed everything else about the book!

Athena grinned slyly and mimicked pulling a sword out of its sheath at her side.
“You better watch out or you’ll be having a war with me.”
Athena watched as Donald threw a paper at a unaware griffindor and grimaced. Why must Gryffindors and Slytherins fight so much. It was just an old rivalry that had imprinted on the generations. Athena didn’t understand it. What a ridiculous war. Pointless. Combined griffindor and Slytherin would be powerful. But alas, that wouldn’t happen.
“looks like someone wants a griffindor enemy.” Athena shook her head and sighed.
“She did it,”
“Did not,” Athena retorted and glared at Donald. “Don’t you even try to pull me into this.” She watched the girl who they had thrown the paper at and saw her mouth something.
“I’m going to apologize to her like any mature person would do.” Athena stood up and walked across the room.
“Hi. Sorry about them. They can be a little…eek. Like-being boys and all. Anyway, I’m Athena.” Athena extended a hand and gave a hopeful smile. She glanced back at the boys who were watching her suspiciously.

Donald had supposed he had heard about the goddess of wisdom before but he was unaware that she was also a patron of war. Perhaps the knowledge used for weapons and strategies. Colin’s compliment on his throw made Donald giddy for his flying class later in the week. He was highly confident that he could wing a nasty bludger though. The fellow Slytherin was very amused by the whole ordeal until he noticed who the target actually was. ‘Black Charlie’ he called her; Donald guessed it was on account of her hair. Out of all the Gryffindor kids, it was the only one he didn’t want to hit. When had she even gotten into the room?!

Despite this, Donald could not stifle a chuckle as Colin said he had made an enemy for life. He got a full-blown laugh when he said that she would get her whole side of their room to rally against them. Challenge accepted, he thought as his friend jabbed him for effect. Donald sat up properly as a cocky smirk crossed his face while Charlie mouthed her words at him. He noticed that Colin had looked at the page the stupid binding opened back up to, he assumed he read the note, but the boy was a fellow Slytherin. Maybe he would even understand? Only time would tell; besides, Donald had far bigger worries.

The second look Charlie gave made him think of the Vervain flower she had mentioned back on the train. She was so sweet back then and her voice made him think of a healing power similar to when he held his willow wand with the unicorn hair for the first time. Donald felt the spikes in this second look; somehow, she had won the first battle in this war and he simply looked down at his book. He would never admit it now, at least not out loud, but he was grateful that Athena went to apologize on his behalf.

Flipping the pages in the book she chose to ignore Colins words, only when she heard the footsteps of the girl coming up and standing beside her did she look up, blinking slightly as she turned back to look at the guys after hearing her words.

Taking her hand and giving it a return shake, a small smile growing on her lips as she nodded slightly,"Yeah...I just wasn't expecting that from them...Nice to meet you too..I'm Charlie."Setting back slowly in her chair she let the book settle on the desk, her hand falling to her lap. She wasn't to sure what else to say, socializing wasn't her strongest suit by any means but the girl seemed genuine enough but she knew that she was the only one out of the three that was willing to apologize for what occurred, even if she herself had nothing to do with it. She could clearly see the main culprit wasn't Athena...possibly not even Colin.

"I wonder what got into him to make him do that...he seemed...nicer...on the train ride here, I wasn't expecting him to do that to me....but...thank you." she turned her attention back to the book in front of her, picking at the pages slightly before turning back to the one she was reading from, she wasn't trying to dismiss her by any means, she was just unsure of what to say. He mind still mulling over what just occurred had her unsure now of the feelings she felt before on the train, giving her a bit of confusion in the mix.

Shiawase had wheeled into the room. She was a huge spectacle, not just for Slytherins, but for seemingly every other house, too. It was just that the Slytherins were way more obvious in their judgment, with some notable exceptions. It didn't really matter where she sat. She'd shut everything else out. She was toward the front of the room, herself, and hadn't really chosen the location for a house "side." She was actually in a space between houses. As she was writing down notes for the class, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. It was a wad of paper. And it hit Charlie . . . the girl from the train. Shiawase turned her wheelchair around, trying to see who threw it. And as she turned, she heard a voice proclaim, "That was a lovely cast! Power and precision! Next time, make it a bludger!"

Her heart sank into her stomach. After all, the voice belonged to Colin. She thought he was better than that. And when she completed her turn, it got even worse. She recognized Donald, sitting next to him, laughing. He was laughing! He was proud of what happened! It didn't matter whether he did it, it was still so idiotic! What was wrong with him?!

Her disappointment quickly gave way to fury! An angry blush spread across her cheeks, and the glare she gave them was full of daggers as she shook. She would have words with them later. But not now. Not in front of everyone. She'd wait until they weren't in class. Maybe in the Common Room. The better course of action would be to make sure Charlie was okay. And so, she turned her wheelchair once more, and wheeled toward Charlie, setting her books on her lap first.

She was already talking to another girl . . . right. She had seen this girl approaching Charlie when she turned her chair. But Shiawase would still interject.

"Are you okay, Charlie? I didn't get a good look at what happened, but I do know that was awfully mean. Is there anything I could do for you?" she asked. "I really expected better of both of them, too. Don't worry. I'll talk to them later." She looked over at the other girl. "Sorry for the interruption. I've never met you before. Hello. I'm Shiawase Mamori. I'm a friend of Charlie's. At least, if meeting on the train makes us friends. I say it does. Though . . . I guess it doesn't to some people."

Referring, of course, to Donald and Colin. She was tempted to turn and give them a pointed look, but she didn't give in to the temptation. After all, she'd said it already on the train to Hogwarts: the only thing to do with people who were mean-spirited was ignore them. In fact, the way Donald in particular was acting, she was quite sure he wanted attention, negative though it would be. Best not to give it to him.

"In any case, may I sit here for the duration of class? I know it's unorthodox, but I'm already odd. What's one more thing for my fellow Slytherins to gossip about?" She winked as she turned her wheelchair so she was facing forward, but didn't place anything on the table just yet, in case she didn't have permission to stay.

Athena was getting ready to speak again when the bell rang, signaling the end of the period. As the bell rang, she stood up and quickly stretched her legs and arms. She hoped the people she had met here would owl her so that they could become friends. Athena was always looking for friendships. She scooped up her many school supplies including her wand, parchment, ink and quill before getting ready to head out the door. But before she could do that, she wanted to give them each a note. She grabbed her parchment and layed it flat onto the table and began scrawling down a note. When she was finished she looked around and, to her relief, her peers were still there. She ripped the parchment into five sections and handed one to Donald, Colin, Charlie and Shiawise. When they would open it, it would read:
Thanks for being so nice to me during class today! Hope we can sit together tomorrow during class. Feel free to owl me and we can meet up outside of class sometime. See y’all tommorow, Athena
Without waiting for there response she turned towards the door and walked out, leaving the others to read her note.

Feel free to owl me if you ever want to do another RP together!
