An unexpected twist
@Sienna Lenoir did not want to make friends, but Bailey was sure she would wear down on her. Bailey never really struggled with making friends, and only had one or two people she did not get along with.
As Sienna sarcastically answers her question, Bailey smiled, glad to have gotten a response. She truly only saw the best in people, and was sure that Sienna would warm to her.
When the other girl got up with an Aspirated sigh and moved to another table, Bailey decided to give the other girl her space.
After a half hour, Bailey decided to write a quick note to Sienna, drop it on her table as she left. It was getting closer to Lunch, and Bailey had plans to meet up with friends that afternoon, so she was going to change before lunch.
Pulling out a spare piece of parchment Bailey wrote:With that, Bailey packed up her books, stood up, slung her bag over her shoulder and walked out. On her way she passed by the table Sienna was sitting at and she dropped the note, folded into a square with ‘Sienna’ written on the outside, onto the table.Dear Sienna,
I noticed that you were not too keen on being friends. I will not let this stop me though, so … I can’t wait to see you around the castle! And at the goosebumps club meetings. It will be fun to know other people in the club, especially the co owner or founder.
Much love,
Your newest friend,
Bailey Rose Glade
With that Bailey left, heading to her dorm.

Finally, she could actually think without Bailey’s incessant chattering. Sienna could see how other people might find Bailey a fun person to be around, but Sienna just didn’t share the same mindset as those other people. To her, Bailey was someone who didn’t know when to quit, even when it was more than apparent that she should.
Sienna sighed deeply, running a hand through her hair as she tried to focus. She knew it had been wrong to be so rude, but what disturbed the young Gryffindor even more was that she didn’t care in the slightest. Technically, Bailey hadn’t done anything wrong, but Sienna was blatantly refusing to see that. Surely annoying the wits out of someone counted as wrong.
As she wrote her notes for astronomy, she heard a rustling from behind her. She hoped that Bailey wasn’t planning to come over to her table after she had moved. However, the other girl walked right by her without a second glance, dropping a note on Sienna’s paper as she left.
Picking the paper up, she scanned the writing on it with a deepening frown. She was certainly correct in the way that Sienna was not keen on being friends, but the not giving up part irritated her more than Bailey would ever think to know. With a scowl, she threw the note down and let out an exasperated groan. “Please, when I say I don't want to be friends, I mean it.” She gathered her things up in a huff and stormed out of the library, pushing past an innocent looking kid as she went.
