I appreciate the resolve to speak with Stavrou, although I will not hold it against you should nothing come of it. I can certainly understand the sentiment of burned bridges, although I wouldn't be able to speak about Headliner sentiments. I am fairly certain they hold a similar level of ire for me as well. That in their eyes, it was because of my articles that you sought to retaliate in the first place.

And no warning is really needed. I have grown accustomed to receiving hate from others. In fact, I expect it. Do you know that most of those who seem to wish me ill have not even read a single one of my articles? They simply absorb the opinion and emotions of their peers, incapable of coming to a thoughtful conclusion of their own. Nor do they seem to care that there have been published apologies or a shift in how the articles are being written in order to atone.

In that way, I think I have come to appreciate your trials, if only a little bit. A single act can paint a reputation for a lifetime. It is a marvel, really, that you are willing to align yourself with me at all, especially to suggest any openness on the matter with others. Perhaps there really will be something to come of all of this. I suppose only time will tell.

Regardless, I expect to be keeping a low profile for the remainder of the year. I have no interest in pressing my luck and winding up discovered before I can finish my work. With luck, next year will bring with it a fresh wave of awareness. Perhaps even understanding. One can only hope. Until then, I wish you all the best in your endeavours. And perhaps you may wish to keep a wide berth of Notresvace. It seems to me the pair of you are fuel and fire.
