"Ok, this ride was not meant to be about bloodline and such." Extressia quietly thought. But she persisted to greet a friendly smile for the newcomer. She felt really nervous about the conversation she was already partaking, let alone a new person in the compartment.
"Nice to meet you, Rayne. I am half-blood, but I didn't really know anything about the wizarding world like you till my first instance of magic, but we don't need to talk about that. How about your zodiac sign. Do you think yours fit with yourself or is it really mistaken?" Extressia said with a dramatic hand gesture, trying to divert the subject to something lighter. She could there was unexpected tension in the room, she didn't want but was unsure if she should address it. For now, let Rayne answer the question, maybe give her own insight about the accuracy of her zodiac sign, and make some more light chatter after that, and when she feel calm, address the situation. Though it probably not going to go that smoothly since she can't account for the others in the compartment. But it could be at least a good effort. But Extressia knew this would be a long 7 hours, just like Kai said.

My mother didn't like muggles, not at all, she hated them more than anything in the world. All my childhood, she told me never to go further than the forest, because the muggles would be waiting for me there, and they would kill me, they hated wizards, they didn't want any more. To be told all these revelations about their true personality came as a shock, why had I been taught all this then? Were there really muggles-borns at Hogwarts? I shuddered slightly, thinking about it really terrified me.

- I am a pureblood... You must live in such a different world from me... My brother told me that you communicate with blue light boxes and that you stay on them all the time, is that true ? And how do you get around without a broom ? Do you really have dogs ? I heard that they eat cats... Sorry to ask so many questions. I just don't know how muggles live...

Little stars appeared as I asked all this, I may have been afraid of muggles but they were so interesting ! Those 7 hours were going to be long, but when you are not alone, everything goes by faster.

Rayne laughed in disbelief. 'Eating cats?' They asked. 'I can promise you we don't eat cats. I have two back at home, Ferris and Sadie. ' Rayne smiled. 'And yes, we do have dogs, and we drive in cars, walk, ride bikes, instead of broomsticks.' It was fun to speak about the muggle world.
'The blue light boxes you mentioned are called phones, and yes, we are on them a lot. You can call people, so you can speak through the phone to them, record videos... ' They trailed off, remembering about Extressia's point.

They turned to her, saying; 'Anyways, I'm a Scorpio.'
Rayne had never really looked up the personalities behind zodiac signs before, just herd the occasional passing comment about them.
'I don't really know much about how I'm meant to act and all that, I've never had much interest in it I guess, but I love the stars. I have a telescope back home, and every night I used to look into the sky, and on special occasions I would go out the field by my house, where there aren't many street lights and just stare at the moon and the constellations.'

Rayne realised they were rambling.
'Sorry, sometimes I get carried away with the wind,' They smiled awkwardly.
'Anyway, tell me about yourselves,'

Extressia quietly chuckled about the absurd things in Kai's questioning of the muggle world. He definitely never went there before. "No worry Rayne. Well some facts about me, I like to look up random facts on the internet. Like did you know the most common birthday in the world is September 9th according to Google. It is just interesting to see what comes up. I also like small sausages with cheese on them. My mom make them for me after school the time. And I love to learn about wizarding world animals, I am a bit of an animal lover, and it is interesting to learn what kind of animal is unique to the wizarding world. Though I don't think I am done learning about animals in the human world.
Extressia could feel the tension being evaporated out of the compartment. She felt herself in the flow of the conversation with these two people, Kai and Rayne. Though she still has a nagging nervousness about hunter and such, it feels kinda resolve now, Kai doesn't seem that scared or nervous anymore, so the weight of the previous conversation fades away.
"Hey about some fact about you Kai, cmon we should all have something to be sharing with each others."

- Me ? But I have nothing interesting to say! Otherwise I can tell you about my life... Hm.. I was born on October 10th 2010, which is 10/10/10 haha... I live in a manor with my two brothers and I love to go to the forest right next to the family manor. Otherwise... I like to learn about muggles through my brothers, who are at Hogwarts too... And... And... I play the violin. That's all, it's not really an interesting life...

I gave an embarrassed little laugh.

- I've always lived with my brothers, my sister and the staff at home, my parents aren't around much, they travel all the time for business... I'm afraid I don't know how to deal with other people, that I'm not sociable enough...

I was cut off from the world, it's really strange, living alone, with the same people all the time, little contact is really strange, in fact the only contact I had was a little bit before Hogwarts was when my parents would take me to see their collaborators for the first time, at big dinners, where they would only talk about money and inheritance.

But now everything was different.

I was living again.

The train ride continues, small bits of conversation ensues between the three of them. While the impressions was a bit rough in the beginning, all ended on a good note. At least for Extressia, it did. Sooner than she expected, the train ride stop to Hogwart.
"Oh, we here!" She sit up, though it looks more like a launch up and walked toward the compartment door
"Thank guys for the ride company, I hope to be at the same house as you guys, if not, I hope to at least talk again."
With a happy tone, she waved and gave a smile, then sprint out of the train. As she sprinted the thought of her mother appeared again. Extressia didn't want to disappoint her mother, someone who she really cared about, she made a hard choice about Hogwart of her mother, and she still have second thoughts. But she here now, one of the new first years of Hogwart. Maybe one day her mother would be willing to let go of why she hates the wizarding world so much and help her fit in this strange school and world in general. Now thinking back on those hunters, she feels she definitely look into that in the future. But for now, she going to be a Hogwart student. She beamed at the thought.
