Before Willow had any time to process what was happening, she was hit by a strong force and brought to the ground. For a small moment right when she hit the ground, she was stunned. It was as if time had stopped. She was frozen. But this was only for a moment for as soon as her brain realized what had happened, she burst out laughing. "What the hell Simon! That's definitely cheating. I should win by default." Willow wondered how he managed to catch up with her so quickly, even if it was to be expected. And, miraculously, her camera was perfectly fine. She had honestly forgotten about it until that point.

Willow stayed on the ground for a while even after Simon had released her from his "tackle hug" and stared up at the clouds. The sun had begun to start it's journey to set and it had gotten noticeably colder than when Willow had first ventured out but she didn't mind. She had been having the most enjoyable day she'd had since she moved here and she didn't particularly want it to come to an end. "You know Simon, you never did answer my question about why you were out here. Not to be rude but you don't seem like the type to go outside very often. Perhaps it was fate. I always liked the idea of fate. That there was some reason for things to happen. Makes you think about how everything you do must be for a reason." Her mother always instilled that ideology in her. Although she normally rolled her eyes as it was being spoken about. But now that she didn't see her mother everyday, she grew to miss her.

Thankful for fate with @Willow Greene

"It's so not cheating. I would have won and you know it," he said and watched as she looked up to the sky. He laid there in the grass and propped his head up on one hand and glanced up for a moment too to take in the clouds. At least there was some clouds and the sun was setting lower. It made it not as uncomfortable, although the company certainly kept him preoccupied from thinking about it.

"We could race a hundred times over and I'd win - no, a thousand. Just accept your defeat, love, and move on."
He smiled at her and watched as her eyes followed the patterns that were made in the clouds. He could see her love for nature and he was glad that she had an appreciation for it. While he couldn't be outdoors too much, at least she could and she wasn't taking it for granted.

"I dunno...guess I just got tired of being inside all the time or yeah, who knows, maybe I was supposed to meet you," he shrugged. "One never knows. Maybe it was fate. I like that idea. Fate, we were just meant to be Miss Greene. Meant to be."

But it certainly was nice having met a new friend and he never had anyone help him hold a rabbit before. Actually, the only other animal he ever tried to hold was his friend Gabe's pet cat, and that thing scratched him to no end and fled away as fast as it could. It was nice to have someone like Willow around to expand his horizons and help him keep check of his gentler side.

Be kind to one another. (*iNPC is Miles Thatcher)

"Thank you Mr. Kincaid. For a wonderful day of adventure and for being my new friend. However, I am awfully hungry. So I'm afraid our adventure must come to a close. Unless of course you'd like to come to the Great Hall with me?" She secretly sincerely hoped he would agree to accompany her. She feared that after today, she would be forgotten. She didn't really think Simon was like that but she didn't think anyone else in her life was like that until they were.

Once Simon did agree to go with her, she had to basically fight the urge to jump up and down in excitement. Instead, she pulled out her camera and raised it so that it would have the both of them. Now, this day would be captured for the rest of time. Or at least until the camera were still working. Willow wasn't sure but she had yet to hear about or find a picture printer. So instead, she vowed to keep her camera as safe as possible. "Wow, I should honestly be a model don't you think Simon?" She struck her best poses. Before laughing wholeheartedly at how ridiculous she is sure she looked.

As they made there way back to the castle, they talked more about Simon's home life and also Willow's home life. They talked about favorite colors, Willows being purple and blue, and other random small talk. Any worries she had had evaporated as they continued talking and she felt relieved.
