Annoyed, he eyed the girl with growing disdain.
Elsian had felt a little guilty before, worried even but any of that lingering empathy was quickly turning into annoyance the longer the girl spoke. The apology he'd been working up to dragging out on Kitty's behalf for the girl's bird drying up like a drop of water in the Sahara desert; remorse? Dead.
Was this girl just that rude or was this some petty way of trying to save face for her wounded pride? How proud could you be? The Gryffindor was less than impressed to say the least, if the girl was trying to get him to do what she wanted with that piss poor attitude she was going to be sorely disappointed.
“Oh really?” He challenged, stepping closer to crowd the girls' space.
“Because I think I do when the person is a danger to others,” he snapped. “How would you like it if I hexed your pet? You wouldn't like that much would you.” Oh yes, he was still feeling rather petty about the whole thing, but who wouldn't? The fact that he’d bothered with any of this in the first place was ridiculous! The very knowledge that he’d been worried at all in the first place, ready to apologize, well now it grated on the nerves.
In fact why should he trust a thing the girl said; the promise was hardly reassuring.
Head tilting in mock thought he crossed his arms and tilted his head this way and that humming at the girls demands, in the end he only shrugged and looked away. He said simply, “I don't have it right now,” looking unconcerned with the others' annoyance. “And even if I did, why should I trust you, let alone with a wand? Because it's yours?” It was a question made to mock. Voice tilting sweetly with a sharp undertone.
Twisting on his heel he began to walk away to the stairs turning his back on the other with a tone of finality. “I oughta get a prefect or your head of house, give it to them.”

@Elsian Cox"Yes really," Samantha said with a serious face, not intimidated by the fact that the boy had stepped closer. She looked him right in the eye, showing she wasn't afraid of him. She looked calm, even though she wasn't. She was still freaked out about the spider and the fact that she felt like she had no control over the situation did not help at all. Samantha always wanted to feel in control, especially if she wants something, like right now.
How dare he to talk about Amenadiel! Her owl had nothing to do with this, he needed to leave her perfect little owl outside of this. The look on her face changed when he mentioned her pet, you could see how the hate on her face. Nobody talked about her pet like that. "First of all, I am no danger to others," she said harshly, "your pet is, it attacked me, your pet is a bloodthirsty monster so don't blame me."
She took a deep breath and waved her finger, which was pointed, right in from of the face of the boy. Her hand didn't touch the boy, but it wasn't far from his face. "Secondly, you don't get to decide if I am a danger to others," while saying danger to others, she made air quotes, "Your judgment is not to be trusted, just look at your choice of pet, only idiots have a spider as a pet. And lastly, don't you dare to talk about Amenadiel, he is the most amazing, perfect, beautiful little owl on this entire planet. If you touch him with a finger, I will cut it off." Pure hatred could be seen in the girl's blue eyes.
"You don't have it right now?" she echoed the words of the other in disbelieve. "What are you, an idiot? Leaving MY wand somewhere without anybody to look after it. What is it you want? You want an idiot, just like you, to steal it leaving me wandless? Is that what you want?" She looked at the boy in disbelief, how stupid could one be.
"Yes," She had explained it not even 5 minutes ago, this boy really was an idiot. "It is MY wand, so you don't get to say anything about it. I bought that wand with MY money," it had been her parent's money, but still, "the wand choose ME, not you. It is MY wand, so you have no right. It is no matter of trusting me, you need to give it back to me."
When the boy turned around and started walking away, Samantha followed him. "There is no need for that, you can just give it to me. They will see I am right and give you detention because you stole my wand." Samantha was sure of it, she had done nothing wrong. She was a great student and never lied, there was no way that a prefect of her head of house was going to say that the boy was right. After a little pause, Samantha talked again, "You know what, sure, go to my head of house or a prefect. I have done nothing wrong, so I have nothing to fear. You on the other hand..." She looked a the boy with a triumphant smile. The young girl felt more in control over the situation and she wasn't going to let the control slip away from her again.
This boy was extremely annoying. Not only annoying, no, he was also stupid, a complete idiot, a thief. Maybe she had been wrong in the beginning, but there was no way she was going to admit that. Defiantly not after everything this idiot has done.

"I sincerely doubt that," he spat, stopping in his tracks.
How dare she insult his pet this way!? How dare she, the person who struck first, hellbent on shuffling off the blame for her own actions act so stupidly high and mighty! Did this dumb girl not understand what she implied?
It was with a dark look he batted away the girls hand, green eyes alight with anger and a scowl firmly locked into place. "I'll say whatever I damn well please so long as you keep insulting my pet as if you didn't try to abuse her in the first place!"
And at her threat? A cruel smirk replace the frown on his lips. "You sure about that? Not gonna start screaming again, maybe throw in some hysterics or sobs if ya got a few seconds to spare?" He laughed a sharp unpleasant thing, "Oh, but I'm sure the groveling will work," he assured sweetly. "After all, you're a pureblood."
Scoffing at the memory he twisted on his heel, abruptly making his exit to the stairs even as the annoying feather brained idiot spoke. The anger in her tone sounding more like the whining of a goat, her smugness equally distasteful to his ears as something bitter curled at the back of his throat, sitting on his tongue.
"Too bad you didn't say any of this before you had a breakdown," he replied solemnly and in a different world, in a different meeting where they'd both laughed over this and apologized maybe he would have meant it. "Then again that would have cut into the groveling for the pureblood with the bloodthirsty spider wouldn't it? Scared of death eaters much?"
Perhaps it was cruel, throwing jabs at the girls misfortune but in that moment Elsian could hardly care. The fact the girl spoke as if he'd give a single bloody damn about her 'wand rights' was after all, in of itself laughable. A wand wasn't a right in this world, it was a privilege and like all privilege could be taken away in the blink of an eye. As far as he was concerned she might have well just whined, 'I bought it so its my right to keep it, even if I decided to threaten and hurt you with it.' Charming.
For a quiet moment, there at the edge of the steps with one hand braced on the railing Elsian eyed her with an expression quite hard to place. Then, in a rather simple tone, very matter of fact, said, "I'd have to be a pretty lousy thief to want your mess of a broken wand," and he grinned, head tilted innocently, "good luck finding both parts, I'd help but I'd just get in the way. Idiot and all," he said looking a bit too cheery at the self insult. Taking the stairs 2 at a time Elsi gave a small wave, disappearing down the flight. A pleasant, "Good luck feather brain!" the only response to any outrage or demands the girl may have had.
Ignoring her was a simple matter after that. Gathering his things an easy and quick task; Kitty seemingly happy to crawl by his side on the ground. His letters would have to wait what with his mood rather soured which left nothing left to do but escape this horrible tower and find a professor or someone to hand over the wand. Picking up the wand however, well...he paused. Why should he have to waste his time and effort handing over the wand to an adult for that feather head? Sure he didn't want to give it outright to her, no way in hell but...why not make her work for the wand herself? Why not have a little fun.
Eyeing the fountain he smirked; that would do.
So, without so much as a whisper of regret he dropped the girls wand into the water, careful to not make a sound as he watched it sink. Leaving the owlery, 1 wand lighter and Kitty trailing happily at his heels Elsian felt oddly lighter.
Satisfaction maybe.
okay but Elsian just wanted to be really mean as I wrote apparently and went off Im so sorry

@Elsian Cox"I never tried to abuse your pet, how dare you to accuse me of that! I was simply trying to protect myself from that thing!" She looked angrily at the boy. She had done nothing wrong, he was just trying to make excuses for his awful behavior. She knew better than to listen to his useless words.
Did the boy really have to mention the pureblood part? She hated herself for saying that but she had been in panic mode and hadn't thought about anything that came out of her mouth. Samantha hated that the boy talked about her hysterical behavior, she wasn't proud of it. "Shut up." It was a weak response and she knew it, but she couldn't think of anything else to say.
The brunette closely followed the boy, determined not to let him out of her sight. She ignored the boy's comment about her breakdown and anything else the boy said. She didn't need to defend herself, after all, she had done nothing, the girl reminded herself. The control she had felt disappeared as soon as the boy mentioned her wand.
"Br-broken?" For a moment she couldn't breathe. She stared at the boy in disbelieve, what did he say? She couldn't move anymore, her arms and legs didn't work. She could only watch the boy walking down the stairs and giving her a small wave, as if he had just had the best day of his life. When he wished her good luck, she could finally move again. She ran to the stairs and stood at the top of them as she yelled. "WHAT DID YOU DO? WHERE IS MY WAND? ANSWER ME, YOU IDIOT!"
She started to run down the stairs, but before she was even halfway down, she spotted the spider. Within a second the young girl was at the top of the stairs again. The speed she had running down the stairs was nothing compared to how fast she ran up them again, even Usain Bolt would be impressed.
The young girl waited at the top of the stairs for the pair to leave, she didn't want to go down when the bloodthirsty spider and the wand thief were still there. She patiently waited for the footsteps to disappear, before she slowly made her way down the stairs. She tiptoed down the stairs and looked for any movement. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she started to walk around carefully, trying to find her wand or what was left of it.
After she hadn't been able to find any of the pieces of her wand, she started to panic. How hard could this be? She had searched the entire floor and hadn't found anything. The fact that her wand would be broken should make it easier to find at least one of the pieces, right? She looked across the owlery, what did she miss? It was then that she spotted the fountain. He wouldn't, would he? She slowly walked towards the fountain, hoping with all her heart she wouldn't see her broken wand lying on the bottom of the water. The idea of her already broken wand lying in dirty water was too much for Samantha to handle. After her last step, she could look into the fountain.
And there it was, laying on the bottom of the fountain, her beloved wand. It took her a second to realize that the wand wasn't broken at all, but when she did she was extremely happy. She quickly placed her hand in the cold water to get ahold of her wand. With her wand safely in her hand, she left the owlery hoping to never see the spider and the boy ever again.Thread left
