His locking spell hit true and smoothly locked the door bolt behind them, leaving them caged with the feral beast that was primed and ready. Gray looked back to Erin and saw the stuff of nightmares, a sight that would bring nightmares to any child in the castle. He visibly saw her pupils go pitch black and her mouth widen to an unearthly length, almost as if it has separated from her skull entirely. Even for Percival, it was disturbing to see. All he could do was stand there with a gulp and watch her launch at him with immense speed.

At the last second, Percival scrambles to the right and just about keeps a tight grip on his wand. When he turned back it was clear he narrowly avoided a disastrous blow, the marks left on the table only proved how much immense strength she was trying to use against him. That wasn't all though, the terrifying screech she let out was only proof that the Erin they knew was no longer with them. Now they were up against a merciless monster who sought to slaughter them both without hesitation.

Gray slowly backed away and kept on guard, his glare sometimes going to San to see how she was doing. Martin knew the deal, now all he needed to do was help her execute it "Hey! over here you ugly, repulsive hag!" he growled over to her with a small cough. Since the start, his dry throat was only getting worse, probably from how nervous he felt from the whole thing as a whole. Nonetheless, he needed to keep calm for not just himself but for San. If one of them broke, things for sure were going to spiral out of control.

Percival scrambled away from Erin's attack. Erin would have ripped his throat out and lapped up the blood he bled like a cat would drain a saucer of milk. He was fortuitous to say the least, as a low guttural growl would escape the 'girl.' Could she truly be defined as a girl any longer, with the way she acted, the hunkered over posture she chose. She stood like a wild beast, she attacked like some sort of literary fiend, the sort that parents would talk about to keep their children in bed at night.

"Hey! over here you ugly, repulsive hag!"

Percival had lost his ever-loving mind as he summoned the changeling's attention. He was over there, just a few feet to the side. The nearest, most irritating, jarring of targets. There was no hesitation, no concern and no second thoughts. Not from the hag, not from whatever small thread of humanity erin still had that was snapped the moment instinct took over and she was trapped in this room with the two of them.

She would pull herself off from the desk, the motions strange and limp almost as she slid off the desk but stood on her feet, her hands mere inches from the ground. A twisted carriage that seemed to hardly limit her ability to strike as she backed away from the teachers desk and moved wide around the classroom barrier. Stalking from the perimeter, from the periphery, A low, rattling growl would escape her open maw. It sounded inhuman.

She would take a bounding leap over the classroom desk and chair that Percival stood behind like a simple hurdle.

Percival's nimble nature would not serve him a second time as Erin's body crashed into Percival. It felt like he was hit by a stack of violent potatoes. She would land on top of him, a pinning by a girl that Percival would have wished to have avoided in this context. Hopefully santario will have the opportunity to make being pinned a more enjoyable experience than this as long, thick, jagged nails dug into his arms and Erin took a bite out of the poor man's shoulder.

They would only see RED. Everything was going to plan, Percival had truly distracted Erin from her intended goal but at what cost? Percival was bleeding and his back was to the ground. A ravenous monster was sitting on top of him and there did not appear to be reason in those large, black eyes.

“Slugulus Eructo!”

Santario Martin would cry. It wa her word of power. Her intent. To expel the dark influence from within.

Santario would narrowly miss Erin with her spell. Percival would feel the hit, wet stickiness of his own blood. The searing pain of his flesh being torn from his body. Percival was in serious trouble, something he would potentially realize as he found himself trapped beneath the hungry predator. Santario was someplace in the room, he heard the incantation but there were no glorious slugs being vomited onto his face.

Her spell went off without a hitch, but Erin had pinned Percival to the ground and sunk her teeth into him. “PERCIVAL!” The scream tore from her throat before she even realized she screamed his name. That was when her demeanor would change, not that anyone would likely see it as she started taking a couple of far too calm steps toward Erin. The look on her face had changed from terrified to emotionless, only her eyes betraying the unhinged rage bubbling up inside of her.

Seeing and (likely) hearing him in pain was starting to send her over the edge. She had failed him, and now just as she had feared, he had been hurt. More than hurt, he had flesh torn from his body, and his life was in more danger than they had anticipated. Santario’s eyes fell on Erin Ryan, and she wanted nothing more than to destroy her very existence. After all, she wasn’t even herself anymore. What would anyone care if she just snuffed out her life right here right now? Her whole body trembled as she raised her wand once more. Which spell would she cast, though? Incendio duo came to mind; watching her burn would be very satisfying, but in the end, Percival’s voice from a prior conversation talking about saving her broke through.

What would he think of her if she did that? She didn’t want him to see or know that side of her. His opinion mattered. “Slugulus Eructo!” She called out once more as planned, hoping that trying to feast on Percival would make her less likely to dodge out of the way.

Slightly backing away from the monster his insults had gotten the things attention and then some. "Erin" in bizarre fashion pulled herself up from the desk, her body slouched over in her new natural stance that left her hands inches from the ground. Grays's breath quickened as she studied a way to attack him, almost like how a predator cornered its prey for the final kill. Letting out a low growl from her inhuman form she suddenly jumped over the desk and aimed her claws at his body.

Even if Gray thought he was prepared he had no chance to dodge the insane speed Erin threw at him. Slamming into him like a tonne of bricks, Gray fell to his back with a loud grunt and tried to move his arms upwards, but that would soon be shutdown. Her razor sharp claws pinned his arms to the ground, leaving him open to the vicious bite that would soon dig into his shoulder "Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhh!" the prefect yelled at the top of his lungs, blood instantly spurting from the hole where a chunk of his flesh used to be. His legs wildly kicked around under her and the fact her claws were increasingly going into his arms added insult to injury. The pain of the bite shot threw him like a bullet, forcing his face to become flushed and pale from how much he was suffering.

Through the sound of his own scream, he heard San screech his name in despair. The thought of him getting hurt was too much as she missed Erin by inches, leaving him on top of the vulnerable Gray who was leaking blood like a stuffed pig.

Below him, a steady stream of blood poured to the floor and formed an ever increasing dark puddle of sticky red liquid. Gray knew he was losing blood and fast, they had to finish this now before he became a tasty treat for the newly reformed Erin "D-don't worry... about... me..." croaked Gray as he prepared for another inevitable attack "Do... W-what you have to do..." gasped the boy who bravely looked at the wide mouth which was surely going to feast on him once more, his movements increasingly slowing from the injuries he was sustaining.

This was not how Percival expected to die, eaten alive like an antelope on National Geographic. Yet there he was, his back to the ground, a ravenous creature that saw not a person but rather a meal pinned, writhing beneath her. Some might call this monstrous but in truth this was the law of nature - to kill or to be killed. The strong which prey on the weak. The next time they enjoy a roast or a rare piece of steak, perhaps they would think of her.

Percival tastes as sweet as he smelled. Hunger which knew no saity compelled her. A hunk of flesh which filled her mouth, bloodied meat that filled the air with an intoxicating scent. A blood frenzy some might call it. Santario's screams, Percivals' grunts of endurance were merely background sounds like the din of a cocktail party beneath the percussion of her own heart. She let out a rattling hiss as she went in again for another bite. For the throat.

She would attempt to go for the throat, to end his suffering quickly. An act of mercy perhaps or perhaps rather an act of instinct as attempted to tear into this vital space and end the Prefect's struggling once and for all. Yet she would miss, not that he was far. he was within her grip but he would wiggle himself free of her claws and he would slide, wiggle and yes roll out of reach. Still bleeding, a bloodied trail would tell the tale of the scene. A puddle of crimson and a rough brush stroke to the right and the injured boy broke loose of the changeling and scrambled to his feet. There was no place to run, he had dangerously locked himself in with the girl.

“Slugulus Eructo!”

Santario would cry a second time. The monster was fast, too fast for this to be reasonable. Percival had already gotten hurt. He might even get himself killed before Santario was able to put the girl down.

But this time as the predator pursued her prey, distracted by Percival's intoxicating scent, Santario's magic would land true. It would feel as if she was punched in the gut by an unseen force. Erin would stagger thrice to the side, her flank hitting a nearby desk and toppling it over. She swayed, her hand would instinctively find a desk and she would brace herself as the rumbling contents of something deep inside protested this eviction.

A gasping wheeze, an unearthly noise from the deep reaches of a girl covered in blood that was not her own. He would retch, just saliva turned red from her recent meal would be evacuated in a sloppy stream. Another retch, her entire body undulated and nothing would come but this time there was no noise. Her face would turn red, she could feel it. Something caught in her throat. Another heave, in spite of her power it was increasingly obvious that she was too thin. Bony in fact. Her power and strength utterly unnatural. Silent again, no air. Her lips would darken, her stomach would convulse and contract as it tried to forcefully expel its contents. A stagger, a white knuckled grip on the desk her hand had found,

Ultimately Erin would perform the technicolor yawn.

Through an unhinged jaw,too large to be human something large would emerge. The size of a small cat. Large and black, wiggling violently. It had teeth. It would expel onto the ground followed by a slurry of red, Percival's undigested shoulder meat and conventional slugs which would follow.

The strange, black creature was slug-like indeed but more represented by annelids. Great and terrible with a toothy maw and a blackened, chitinous carapace. Exactly what this monstrosity was that they had just evicted from the mad girl was still alive, very much mobile and yes - very very mad.

Erin went for another bite, but this time it would have been toward a much more vital area, and Santario felt like everything that she feared was about to come true before her very eyes. Red and black tinged the edges of her vision as she felt herself getting closer and closer to losing control and not caring. That was when Percival somehow moved and escaped a fatal blow. “Slugulus Eructo!” She breathed as the breath she was holding released. After Percival had offered an attempt to help her stay focused. It would not have worked if she was keying into it. Percival’s strained speech and blood trail would only further distract her.

Instead, she looked inward for her focus, honing on those dangerous feelings inside of her that called for Erin’s total evisceration as she waited the painstaking few seconds to see if she would finally be successful in their task. The spell collided with the older girl staggering her into a desk, and Santario watched entranced. This had to work; they didn’t have any other options, and if Percival thought she was ever going to allow him to help her do something like this ever again, he would be dead wrong.

As Erin retched the first time, Santario called on every ounce of willpower she had left not to follow suit as viscera evacuated her throat. She watched as Erin retched once more, but nothing happened, and that was when how broken Santario really was showed. A smile twisted in nature played upon her lips while she made no move to help. Erin Ryan could choke on it for all she gave a damn right now. San was forgetting something; why did she want her to suffer… Her eyes snapped to Percival, and her facial expression changed as if she had been slapped across the face. Right he was dying.

A very wet splat pulled her attention back to Erin, and her eyes widened as she looked upon the giant… abomination that could only be described as a fat part slug part leech. It would seem it honed in on her, which made sense she was the reason it had just lost its home. Santario managed to jump out of its way as it came for her, but she made sure it put her closer to Percival as he was now her priority. A few strides to finish closing the distance making sure that she stayed between him and the Hagslug. “Ferula!” She would do what she did best, be a healer first and try to stop his bleeding. As soon as she didn’t have to think about him anymore, all bets would be off, and she would face off with the hagslug.

Gray's heart was almost pumping out of his chest, the sense of dying creeping into his mind as blood continued to heap out of the large wound from his shoulder. Not only that, but his eyes were getting heavier by the minute. The boy tiredly kept his eyes on the beast as she went down for another bite, this time going for his delicate neck. It was like slow motion when her teeth got closer and closer, inch by inch aiming for the killer blow. However, without warning Gray releases a determined yell and manages to break free from her grip, painfully rolling away and leaving a red trail to go along with it.

It took him a few tries in quick succession to scramble back up, mainly from how weak and unbalanced he felt. All he could do was stumble and stagger to a wall and lean himself against it, using it as a crutch to keep his exhausted body upright. With dread, he turned to face an approaching Erin, who was already running at him with purpose. Nothing he could do could stop her now, she was already too close for him to fire a spell and his arms were aching terribly from the ragged nails digging into his flesh. Was this really how it was all going to end?

Just when Erin was going to get her wish San abruptly screamed another slug spell and hit her directly, sending her staggering to the right into a nearby desk. Gray sighed to himself and slouched over with a heavy set of breaths, relieved that the last thing he saw was Erin ripping him apart piece by piece.

He couldn't bear watching what the girl was going through right now. Her gags and wheezes to force all the unearthly things out of her body were disgusting, one of which made him beyond sick to his stomach. Even when his eyes was looking at the floor, he could still hear the unsatisfying noises of undigested flesh and other oddities slap against the floor in a hideous fashion, including the last monstrosity that wiggled its way into being the worst of the lot.

Gray couldn't help but look to see the black slug like creature, too exhausted to give any real reaction other than almost sliding down the wall to his backside. But from what he could see the thing looked pissed to be out of its host, and looked to reap havoc on the one that rudely slashed his plans. The slugged slid at San with surprising speed, trying to latch its teeth around anything it could sink its teeth into. Luckily, the nimble girl was ready and jumped to the side to create some distance.

Now that she had space to breathe, she quickly came to the aid of Percival and tried her best to suppress the bleeding. At this point, he had lost quite a bit of blood already, yet it was better late than never considering he didn't want to bleed out. Gray weakly gave her a nod of thanks as she prepared the spell, forcing him to turn his attention to the slug which was surely going to pounce on this chance. Using whatever he had left inside him, he aimed his wand at the creature "Immobulus... " he said in a lowered tone croaky tone. Nothing was going to stop him from being there, not even the lack of blood...

Erin continued to retch, one would think that the slug was evicted and that there would be no more but that was not the case. Erin had always said 'they', a plural distinction. There was not a single slug worming its way around inside of the girl but rather several that were gnawing away at her insides slowly over these past few years. Growing in size and getting fat as she grew mad.

A wheeze, a cough halted when her airway was blocked, as another one of those terrible creatures was expelled through her aching maw. A spark of revelation, a look of shock and fear muddied her expression as yet another large, black, chitinous annelid was evacuated. Erin tried to cuss, but the rumbles of hell itself inside her gut would prevent her from saying a word. Just a terrible noise, fl=ollowing by the squelch of something moist hitting the wooden floor.

A second creature, identical to the first. Not the last. Good, bad, and strange alike, the law of three was in play. The second 'slug' would target the same girl, there was a preference for females to either victimize or serve as a host. Hopefully Santario Martin would not determine which was the intention.

No good deed goes unpunished. The toothy, circular maw of the creature that was housed within Erin was quite foul but more than that, it was fast and viscous. It would spring and the slick flesh of the segmented monstrosity would wrap around the girl's leg and bite the poor girl in the thigh. It was invasive, it would try to burrow, burying its head into her flesh.

She would be able to scramble out of the way before the second was able to latch on. Percival would bear witness to this horror, these dark and gruesome creatures that had progressively twisted and addled the still heaving teen. Erin's knees would buckle under the weight of her own body, yet she was as durable as Percival had experienced first had. she did not fall.

Santario would not be deterred. Percival was bleeding out, perhaps he did nt realize how bad it was, but the room was painted red. The strange, terrible scent of blood filled the air. A unique scent that would turn ones stomach almost as much as the sounds Erin was making.

He would feel his arms and his legs involuntarily straighten and then snap to his sides. He would teeter and then he would fall. He would crash onto the floor, the back of his head would crack against the ground.

Percival was bound.

Santario would be facing overwhelming odds. Percival was bleeding out, he would soon lose consciousness from blood loss. There were two released creatures and Erin was still retching, the unspoken but certainly heard promise for more. She was already injured, one of these strange creatures had bit her and was presently latched on. It hurt, there was a difference between this and what happened in the dueling club. To Santario’s horror, a second abomination slithered out from Erin’s throat. They had underestimated the enemy, every aspect of it, and now they were probably going to die because of it… Well, not they. Not Percival. She would save him even if it meant sacrificing herself to make sure he got out okay. He was severely injured; Erin was probably not going to be any help, and all Santario could do was try to hold them off the best she could.

As she tried to get to Percival, one of the slugs rounded back on her, wrapping itself around her leg and sinking its teeth into her thigh. An immediate shriek ripped itself from her lungs, hitting ungodly high pitches overpowering even that of Pterodactyl Winnie. Her free hand gripped her thigh right above where the abomination had latched itself. Searing pain coursed through her as if her blood had been lit on fire.

She looked up; merlin, blood was everywhere… It looked like a scene right out of one of her father’s books. She breathed heavily as she managed to get to Percival exactly as he managed to immobilize himself. Bandages shot out of her wand; he needed to live he could save them… He had to make it.

Only he mattered as tears well in her eyes as she spoke her voice was unsteady her hands starting to shake. She wasn’t sure what her fate would be, but she had a feeling she and Erin were about to be much friendlier and not in a way that benefitted anyone around them. “I- I know you can hear me. Percival, I am going to unbind you. You need to unlock that door and run for help. Leave us behind. I-I will do what I can…” Tears rolled down the Slytherin’s cheeks as she stared at him, hoping for once in his life he wouldn’t argue with her. So she said the thing that cemented that he wouldn’t. “Remember what you promised me when we talked about me making a deal. Remember you promised me you would find a way, and now I need you to keep that promise. You know the cure. I need you and you can’t do that if you stay here and die.”

Santario clenched her jaw and raised a shaky hand up, pointing her wand at Percival. “Run Percival… For me… Run. Finite Incantatem!”

Flicking his wand to the ugly beast it was clear he wasn't in any condition to fight, let alone use his wand. Suddenly, the spell would fire back at the prefect, forcing his arms to snap to his side as he fell like a plank of wood to the floor. Above him, San was fighting for her life against the bugs. She did what she could to keep clear from the wretched creature, but another slug that had appeared from Erin wrapped herself around her leg and sunk her teeth into the girl's thigh. Grays's eyes snapped to San as she shrieked in agony, one that could burst an eardrum. He wanted to do something, anything to save her from the pain she was suffering, being frozen wasn't going to do him any favors though.

Even through the pain, she managed to deliver aid to his shoulder. Bandages tightly wrapped around the wound and stopped it from bleeding for now, but who knew if it was worth it or not. He could see her hands shaking and her voice wavering, if it was from the pain or steady realisation of her fate was unknown. As he lay there immobilised all he do was look up to her, tears welling up in his eyes while she spoke of his promise. San was right, no matter what he had to keep to his promise of finding a way, even if it meant allowing harm to the people he loved most.

If in the case the spell succeeds...

When the counter course hit his body slowly flopped back to normal, giving him free will to move his aching limbs once more. Panting heavily Gray could barely speak, and that was just from the effect of the wound alone "San..." he gasped over to her as he desperately grabbed hold of her shoulders and got up, their faces only inches apart. Slowly he would gently place his forehead against hers, a pained smirk escaping his lips "S-stay strong..." was the only thing he could say before reluctantly tearing himself away from the girl he admired.

Taking a moment to catch his breath he raised his shaking wand hand to the door and slowly flicked "A-alohomora..." the boy said in a hoarse voice, his heart, and soul striving to get the help they needed, no matter the cost.
