"Well, I don't think I am cute, so I don't like being called cute." On top of that Samantha wasn't used to being called cute. Most of the time compliments on appearance went to her sister and not to Samantha. Whenever somebody gave the young girl a compliment most of the time it was about her schoolwork.

Vivian was really open about her feelings towards Samantha. The brunette couldn't image never having seen your father.

From Vivian's surprised reaction Samantha could make out that she didn't receive the letter from a teacher. A prank? She giggled, "I get it, my parents also though it was a prank at first. My mom didn't believe it and thought the professor was crazy." She remembered how skeptical her mom had been towards the idea of real magic. But who wouldn't be if you had only heard of witches in fairy tales. Maybe it was because Samantha was a child that she did believe it right as the professor had told her, or maybe she always knew she was different.

Sam nodded, while listing to Vivian. "Do you miss your mom? And maybe siblings, do you have any siblings? Or are you an only child?" Samantha had a lot of questions she could ask the other girl, she loved getting to know people. Everybody had a different live and that was something that fascinated her. If you would have looked at Vivian, you wouldn't be able to geus that she grew up as a muggle. You only get to know those things about people if you talk with them.

Missing her mom..... she was not sure about it. Her mom was always busy with her patients in her hospital, not spending enough time with the blonde but yes, she misses her mom not only now but also when she was in the muggle world, in her house. Spending her time all alone inside a bungalow was not helping her to love herself but made her get scared of people and all...

“Well.... I don’t know if I miss my mom- I mean, it’s just been a day, so....” she flinched and continued “I don’t have siblings, it’s just me” looking away from Sam. It was painful for her to explain it, it was always her who provided emotional support to herself, she thinks she has a big family somewhere but have no idea to find them tho she have started hating them even before she knew them. At least one day they would come to her, she hopes.

Being lost in thoughts before she realised “You have a big family? Or have any siblings?” she asked Sam with a bright smile. Sam seems to be loved, of course, she must have a big family who loves her a lot. The class now was emptied and it was just Sam and Vivian there and it was lunchtime already “Well, Sam... you know- you know we could have lunch together- I mean, if you are free”. They both were new here and Vivian assumed that Sam must’ve not made any friends here and it would be nice to have lunch with her new friend.

No siblings? Samantha though Vivian must be bored all the time. Even though Sam didn't like her big sister most of the time, she would be very bored without her. When Samantha wasn't with her friends she would be with her sister most of the time. They always talked, played games or made homework together and if they didn't do that, they would probably be fighting over the smallest things, like most siblings did.

When she saw that Vivian looked away, she realized that it must be a hard topic to talk about. She wanted until Vivian talked again, this time she asked about Samantha's family. "Well, I wouldn't say I have that big of a family. At home it is just me, my older sister Anne and my mom and dad. My father has 2 siblings, one brother and one sister. His sister, tante Dutch for auntAmber, has three children. They are around my age, but I don't see them that much, because they live in the Netherlands. And my mother doesn't have any siblings, but my grandparents are really sweet. My opa Dutch for grandpa and oma Dutch for grandma are also really nice, that are the parents of my father and they also live in the Netherlands. And that's all of my family really." She looked at Vivian and smiled, "I don't think it is that big."

"I would love to have lunch together!" She looked around the classroom, they were one of the only ones left. "I think we are a bit slow, almost everybody is already gone." She quickly collected her stuff, "Let's go."
