Gia grinned back at Simon when he agreed that they should get together and play together more often. "Okay!" the girl said brightly. "And sure—I'm very excited to see what this surprise of yours is. . ." He hadn't given her many details when he mentioned it quite briefly, so she honestly had no clue as to what it could be. That didn't matter, though, she was sure it would end up being something wonderful. When the two of them played it again, it was slightly better than the last time, but still not the best. It was quite good when you thought about the fact that neither had prepared, though, Gia thought.

When they had finished, she set aside her guitar very carefully and looked expectantly at her friend. "So. . . the surprise?" she asked with a smile, her voice only slightly impatient. Music had kept her from acting too anxious to see whatever the Hufflepuff boy had in mind, but now that they had finished playing and her instrument was out of her hands the girl could hardly wait. A few moments later, Simon had begun to tell her what he was thinking of doing, and she listened closely.

"Brilliant!" Gia exclaimed once he was finished. "Yes, definitely—I've been thinking of exploring the halls myself, actually, these past few days. I've been busy settling in, though, so I haven't had the chance yet—but doing it with a friend will be so much better." she grinned yet again and quickly stood up. As she'd always been an adventurous girl, it was hard for her to say no to any adventure—but adventuring with a friend. . . that was definitely more fun than adventuring somewhere along, like she'd said to the boy in front of her.

"Where exactly did you see them disappear?" she asked, looking around the room carefully as if it was hiding some sort of big important secret. Which it kind of was, in a way, the first year thought to herself. . . "Wait, was it outside in the corridors or inside this room? And. . . this is the East Wing, right?" Laughing, Gia turned her gaze to the doorway where she could see a little piece of the hall outside as she waited for her friend to answer.

The day was just getting better and better, the Gryffindor thought to herself. First, she ran into Simon here, in the Rehearsal Room, and now they were going to go on a sort of adventure mission together! This is going to be amazing! thought Gia, unable to keep the smile off her face for long.
