Lucia had no idea what was happening when the brunette popped up from the crowd and started timing her. "What the heck?!" she spluttered. "What- what I'm doing over the break? Uh, uh, uh, uh- Oh yeah, my name's Lucia, Lucia Fox, uh-"
Yay, great work under pressure, Lucia!
"Going home, I guess?" she finished weakly, "to see my- oy!" Because the girl had rushed off, cutting the Hufflepuff off mid-sentence. Lucia stared after her. What the heck?!

It was a normal day for Arissa, well... almost. As she strode through the corridor, she found herself being stopped by a brown haired girl, who proceed to ask for her name as well as her activities during school holidays.

Arissa blinked as the girl conducted her interview without drawing a breath, which truly amazed her, before answering the questions.

"Arissa Wright. " Arissa stared at the bubbly girl for a moment before added, "I'll be attending tea parties that my grandmother hosted. And go on a few shopping sprees in France."

With a last curt nod at the other girl, she walked away.

OH SHIZ, I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT. That was the first thought that went through her head when a seemingly eccentric younger student popped out in front of her and asked quite the abrupt question. She stuttered for a minute, momentarily at a loss for words. "Uhm, well, I don't really have any plans. I'm going to see if I can get glasses and maybe hang out with my sister a bit, but nothing really." She belted that out quickly, taking maybe 15 seconds before she ran off, dashing around the overzealous girl with dark hair.

Kazuo's head snapped up from the book he was perusing as he walked, eyes widening in surprise at the sudden attack from this unknown girl. As she rapidly blurted words at him his eyes shifted back and forth in mild panic.

"Nani? Winter break? Holidays? Haaaah?" He sighed, collecting his thoughts then started over. "Kazuo Shimada. I will be visiting my parents at our London home and attending a New Year's gala. I hope to arrange a lantern festival for everyone to participate in." With that said, he returned his attention to his book, continuing on his way.

Ileen blinked only slightly confused when Dee approached her in that way. The young Slytherin was already used to such enthusiastic and random conversation openings from her friend. With a soft sigh she shoved her school bag up her shoulder and rolled her eyes. “Come on, Dee. What are these stupid questions? Did you lose a bet? You know my name and my plans for the holiday. I’m visiting you to wake you with a pillow in your face on Christmas morning.” She tilted her head and gave her friend an evil smile. “Is that interesting enough for you or should I also spoiler you on your christmas presents?” Ileen made a mocking curtsey and stuck her tongue out at Dee. “If this was a test, did I pass it? I like the speaking time limit though. We should make that a general rule here.”

[font=times new roman]Juniper had been on the way to the common room when a Ravenclaw popped up in front of her out of nowhere. She blinked, bewildered and confused by the sudden greeting. "I - um - hello," she stammered a greeting, snapping her book shut. "I - I'm Juniper Yu? I'll be going home - in Seattle - and then to visit my aunt's farm in Virginia. We were supposed to go to Australia, but they've closed their borders, so -" The strange girl broke her off with a chirpy thank you and rushed off again so quickly that Juniper didn't even have enough time to say goodbye. "Oh - uh - ok - see you later... I guess...?"

Starlee was sitting on one of the stone benches in the corridors reading when a peppy older girl just popped right in front of her. "Gah!" she dropped her book as the other girl began to shoot off her questions. Starlee quickly snatched it up and proceeded to answer the girl.

Starlee puffed up her chest and said quite matter of factly, "Well, I'm Starlee Kennedy and I'll be traveling to America to spend the holidays at my grandpappy's house. We also get to fly there on those big metal tubes... my muggle mum tried floo powder once and swore never to do that again. Anyways, he owns a BIG farm in Kentucky, and I get to ride horses... and feed some chickens... and... hey... wait! I'm not done!" But it was too late; the other girl was off to harass her next victim.

Opeila was on her way to the girl's laboratory. More or less enthusiastic for the weekend to start, but right now she was just glad that classes were over, because she had needed to go for hours it felt.
Rushing up to the fourth floor- why only were the bathrooms so high up?- she didn't quite expect a familiar face popping up out of nowhere right in front of her and got even more confused when there was suddenly a hand under her nose. "What on- Dee, you know who I am, what-" Opeila's gaze moved behind Dee, to the toilet doors.

Dee looked at a- was it a stopwatch? Yes, Dee asked Opeila to tell her about holiday plans for christmas in 26 seconds. "Twents-si- Yeah okay, erm... So I will stay at Hogwarts during the holidays. My family is busy, so I asked them if I could stay here." Yeah that was a lie. From this interview, Dee would get some lies about backgrounds, but at least the core message was true. Opeila would stay at her one true home at this point, Hogwarts. "I guess I will have a nice christmas with the people who stay. I'm thinking about getting a few of the girls together to decorate our dorm area, that would be nice. This year there are some fancy spells I learned, bubble producing and flower conjuring. So maybe I can find a way to conjur some more christmas suiting flowers." Opeila smiled. "Also the Professors put up a sign up list for secret santa, so I will be joining that errand."
The second year stopped as the time was most certainly over, or in one or two seconds it would be.

And before Opeila could even say another thing, Dee ran off.

Tina barely had time to swallow the mouthful of chocolate she'd been munching on when she was ambushed by a taller, wavy-haired second-year girl, who held a stop-watch rather menacingly in one hand. "Mmph! We're playing interviews?" she asked as she swallowed, bewildered but excited! Then, realising that her time was ticking, she rushed a- "Oh my gosh! Okay um! I'm deffo watching the Doctor Who Special! Oh! And my name is Martyna-slash-Tina Romero! Spelled M-A-R-T-"
