Cade smiled at the new girl. Everly seemed to be friendly. He nodded when she told him about wanting to be sorted in Ravenclaw. It seemed that was the most popular house of the year. For everyone was hoping to be sorted in it... At least everyone he asked.

"Right. Ravenclaw seems like a good house. For me, it's probably between that and Hufflepuff if I'm being quite honest. My mum was a Hufflepuff." He thought back to the station platform where he had to untangle himself from his little sister's sobs. His mother could have done well in Slytherin as well. Cade frowned trying not to think about his parents. They were behind him now. Today was all about what waited beyond.

"Er... Actually, this is Luna's candy. I think the trolley is yet to come. Here you can have one of my Fizzing Whizbees." He offered her the tin. "Careful though, too much and you'll float out of your seat." Cade chuckled thinking about the rise from his seat only moments before Everly entered the compartment.

"Are you going to try out for the quidditch teams? Personally, I don't want to... it's a little scary being up so high don't you think? I mean... I've never flown that high before." Cade never had his own broomstick before. However, he did watch a lot of Wimbourne Wasp matches. They were his favorite quidditch team.

Everly sank down into the seat as the train rattled along, her nerves starting to calm down and her muscles relaxing. Her eyes brightening as the conversation continued, she began to anticipate what it would be like at Hogwarts, excited and nervous at the same time. "Which class are you looking forward to the most?" She asked eagerly, thinking back to the few textbooks she'd already skimmed. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was quite interesting, and so was Hogwarts: A History. "I think I'm looking forward to Defense Against the Dark Arts the most, it sounds quite intriguing."

"Er... Actually, this is Luna's candy." Her mouth dropped open. "Oh good, I haven't missed the trolley witch yet." She took the tin of candy, then began to ruffle through her trunk, searching for that small bag of money her mother had given her to buy some candy. She plopped the bag down next to her.

"Quidditch! Honestly, the thought of flying on a broom sounds so exciting. My brother told me we were going to take flying lessons when we get to Hogwarts, I'm really excited. My family and I went to see the Quidditch World Cup a few years back, when I was six or five, I think. I saw the Bulgaria versus Norway match, it was a bit bloody." She winced. "I was five years old though, so luckily I don't remember much. Norway's Seeker flew straight at the ground and hit her head!" She settled back in her seat and uncapped the tin, looking into it's contents.

Just then the door opened and she started, turning her head towards the doorway. A girl stood in the doorway and asked if she could join them. Everly put on a friendly face, unsure what to do. "Hi Harmony, of course you can join us!" She smiled at Harmony, the tin of candy still open.

"I reckon Charms would be a fun class," Cade muttered over his Acid Pop. Everly definitely seemed a lot more comfortable now that Cade had struck a conversation. She was now lively with talk. Privately, Cade wanted to sink into the corner, all the attention was starting to break his circuits. He was overjoyed when a ginger girl entered the compartment and introduced herself as Harmony. Everly invited her inside taking charge of the welcome wagon.

Cade tried to look welcoming and friendly but it was quite difficult with the tremendously sour candy stuck in his mouth. Harmony immediately plopped down across from him next to Luna and busied herself with writing something down. Cade hoped it wasn't a diary entry about how ridiculous he looked. He was comfortable just watching them talk, he actually preferred it for now because the sour candy made it quite difficult to speak.

Giving up he decided to study the scenery passing the train. Cade would think that they were half an hour away from Kings Cross by now. This would be a very long ride. And there were other stations to stop on the way to the Scottish highlands. Cade wondered what other students might visit their compartment. They were nearly full up now that four people sat in the compartment. Perhaps two more new faces were to come? He wondered how many students were in their year. He was meeting so many new people already! Surely there had to be some sort of end?

Looking around the compartment he noticed Luna had been very quiet. He wondered if something was wrong. Maybe she was just shy around all these other girls. That had to be it. Cade pulled out Magical Theory again and flipped to the page he left off. But he wasn't really reading, he just wanted a safe spot to leave his eyes. It would be awkward if he were caught staring.

'Ah. maybe they've seen the cart. They do have a few things,' Eliza thought, walking up to the door. She took a deep breath, fidgeted with her sleeve, and held her hand out.

A knock at the door stirred, and a ginger girl looked around.
"Err, g-good day, lot. Have you seen the snack trolley? Can't err, seem to find it..." She asked, looking down the hall. Her thin fingers tapped at the glass eagerly. 'Oh blast.. was that too, urgent? I hope not...' She thought, peeking in. Nervously waiting for a reply, she pointed out, "Ooh, Magical theory. Nice," She smiled and looked down.
Stomach growling slightly, She eagerly fidgeted with her sleeve and looked outside, then back at the group.

Eliza was petrified. "Err.. I'm Eliza. Eliza Galeia Mordin Corrids. N-nice to meet you Harmony. Thanks for helping.." She sighed, and looked at Harmony. She slightly smiled, 'Well. I am sad to say, on my ride to Hogwarts, I did not survive, but starved.' She jokingly thought.
"So err, may I come in? Everyone else's carts are full, and well, am pretty lonely," She chuckled. Fiddling with her sleeve, she looked outside and back at the floor. So, First time at hogwarts? It's mine.. My brothers and parents tell me about it all the time. How all the teachers were awesome, all the classes, I can't wait."
