- Ileen critically missed the spell and it flew towards Alexander who barely managed to evade it.
Alina was furious and went with the nastiest of spells. But the rage must have blinded her — she missed her spell quite hard.
While her ally was looking around for the wand, the Slytherin team went full attack on her. Alexander landed another hit on her, but luck wasn't on Ileen's side. She was dancing so hard that she sent the spell her ally's way. The jolt of wind gently touched the top of Alexander's head before going all the way up into nowhere. It would have been a turn in the duel if it'd hit.

Group C: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin
Alexa scrambled beside the dueling platform, trying to duck as spells flew her way. If only she could find her wand! Suddenly, a spell hit her in the chest, knocking her flat on her back again. With a groan, and feeling very battered and bruised, she rolled over again onto her stomach and pushed herself up onto all fours. She looked ahead of her under the platform and her face lit up. Was that perhaps her wand, sticking out behind the platform leg? Alexa crawled towards it as quickly as possible.

Well that was just sheer luck and Alina knew she most likely wouldn't get so lucky again. She had to think of all the possibilities and cover for Alexa because she certainly didn't want her hit with another blow, especially when she was left so defenseless.
Okay, now it was time to get serious. Now it was time to really try something a little different. Alina lifted her wand and made her next move.

Once more he cast Flipendo, at the almost helpless figure on the ground. He could not help but feel a pang of guilt, to attack someone when they were so vulnerable. To focus one person down so they stood as small a chance as possible. It was certainly not a merciful act, but in battle there could be no mercy, only victory in the end. That was true this day and would be especially true in the fated day. And thus there was only a moment of hesitation as he aimed his wand once more and muttered harshly. "Flipendo" Then he saw the spell impact the scrambling form of Alexa and he winced. Then his eyes went wide as a blast of air whipped just above his head, he immediately turned to face Ileen, who had just cast the spell. His face twisted into a confused expression and a slight mutter of. "What ?" Escaped him.Mentions: @Ileen Knight, @Alexa Mackenzie
Then he turned back to the pair of Hufflepufs. Knowing that he should keep his attention on them as he once more acted out.

Ileen fought the rising uneasiness as she targeted the helpless girl who was searching for her wand. Get it together, Knight! This was nothing personal – it was about logic. They wouldn’t stand a chance if they would divide their power. This was their only chance to win and she wouldn’t blame the other team if they would do the same to her.
So, she aimed at Alexa again even though Alina tried to shield her teammate from their attacks. The young Slytherin slightly grimaced as Alexander’s spell sent Alexa to the ground. ”Ventus!” Maybe it was because she did an involuntary leap during her forced dance or the guilt but when the young girl casted her own spell, she completely missed. Her brown eyes widened in terror as the grey wind jet from her wand tip not only missed the girl, but her hand derailed that the effect was released on her own team partner. “I am sorry!” She was still a little horrified about her lack of performance and at the same moment she was annoyed about it. After Alexander had been able to avoid the stray spell, she immediately focused on her opponents again. Now she really had to pull herself together. Her heart was pounding when she raised her chestnut wand again.

Alina seemed to be deconcentrating on the aiming. Spell after spell went missing in the halls of the duelling club. She needed to get it together before her ally, who just got her wand back (Alexa) was knocked into unconsciousness by the two slytherins.
This time Alexander and Ileen switched. The boy's spell missed Alexa, who seemed to be rolling to grab her wand without being hit. Ileen, clearly not happy with the recent results, just stopped dancing as the effect faded, and waited for the girl to grab the wand to just shoot a flipendo at her, almost missing a centimetre but eventually hitting the target.

Group C: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin
Alexa was hit by another spell! They were targeting her without her wand, and it seemed unfair, but she knew it was just a strategy. Feeling sick to her stomach as she was once again was knocked on her back, this time she laid there for a second, out of breath. If she wasn't careful, they would hit her again, she would be knocked out, and Alina would be made to face them on her own.
Holding her stomach, she leapt on to the dueling platform and pointed her wand at her opponent, a spell on the tip of her tongue. She had never felt more fierce… Like a Badger!

Finally, the forced dance stopped. Maybe her determination to be more useful and to perform properly had enabled her to shake off the spell. More careful this time she aimed at her target. “Flipendo!”
Ileen flinched slightly as her spell hit the girl who was already on the ground and who had just barely escaped Alexanders attack. I promise to never harm anyone. Her field of vision began to flicker at the edges as her oath shot through her head and suddenly she had to swallow. But then she bit her lip and blinked violently to get rid of this thought. Everyone here had known what they were getting into and no one came to any serious harm. She didn't even realize no one had attacked her.
No time for feeling sorry. It was time to put an end to this. Looking back at Alexander she tried to catch his gaze. Let’s do it. She knew exactly what to do next. Gritting her teeth, she raised her wand again.

This duel was getting crazy but that didn’t mean she lost her focus. Her focus was more important now than it ever was before. She got it, strategy. Knock a girl when she’s down but something just seemed so underhanded about the way they both targeted Alexa like that.
This time she would be careful to concentrate, to focus on the two Slytherins in front of her and try and do what she could for her team, for her house.

Group C: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin
He let out a growl of frustration as he saw how his Flipendo slid past Alexa rather than actually hitting her. But even through the frustration he still held enough senses to notice the burst of fire coming towards him. He quickly shifted the position of his left shoulder and presented only his side towards Alina, feeling a vague sensation of heat as the flames shot past him. Giving himself a singular moment to do some dramatics he rolled his eyes and dramatically muttered.Mentions: @Ileen Knight , @Alina Rosier, @Alexa Mackenzie
