A Healing Friendship
"Probably not, I doubt I can learn that fast, but you should really sit back down." He said, sitting back into his chair when she went back to the bed. At least she's sitting down now. He thought to himself. Ezekiel nodded as she spoke. "It wasn't a few minutes, maybe two hours? Three at most? It was long enough for you to get to bandaged up and everything else." He was surprised she hadn't noticed it sooner, it was nearing noon when they had first met each other in the halls, then when she awoke it was nearer to three.
Ezekiel mumbled as she asked him if he had stayed the whole time, only catching the end of the questioning. "Oh um yeah, I did. They only shooed me out when they made me go and get lunch, but after that, I came back up here." He grinned softly. "Was kinda boring when you were asleep, but you're awake now so that's great." Ezekiel thought of the owlery, and his letters back home. He would definitely need to write back about all of this, to let his mom know she was okay and so was he after all of this.
