Curiosity Finished

After petting the other cat, Tiger he thinks his name was from remembering hearing it from the tree earlier, Henry stood and smiled when Sarah introduced her cat as Nova. Which he couldn't help himself but laugh a bit before saying " Nova is a unique name for a cute cat like her," Henry saw Ellis take some trinkets out of his bag but he sort of moved out of the way and a bit behind the others now as he almost whispered to Sarah " could I pet Nova?"

Henry didn't mean to sound polite but he did want to be considerate and some owners didn't appreciate their pet's being touched and for the boy who longed for a cat, he took every opportunity that he could to be around them including watching his friends which was more fun than some would think.

Henry half paying attention to the conversation and half planning on how to leave this small social gathering heard Ellis speak of charms and being friends. He then watched Alan take one and accept the offer before watching Sarah take one and also accept the token of friendship. Crap! Henry now saw that he had to say something and couldn't just stand there but what should he say, now he could feel his anxiety coming on.

Henry never been great at social interactions and his anxiety only made them worse so it made sense that he took the longest before giving a half smile and taking one of the charms from Ellis while saying " thank you, I could use some luck now anyway," Henry then continued after a breath and some more thinking " um, yeah sure becoming friends sounds nice."

Henry was ready to leave, not to head back to his common room but somewhere else when the twelve year old could think. He placed the charm in his jean pocket as Ellis spoke, some part of him knew he was a first year since he seemed rather excited at the idea of being friends with the three of them before saying they had to leave and said good bye along with each of their names. Yep, he's a first year not like that's bad since I'm friends with loads of first years but he seems overexcited by this... even though there's a chance that none of us might see each other again... forget just don't say anything and bust his spirits... just keep your mouth shut and head down Knight and leave.

Henry was about to leave as well when Ellis came back and asked if one of them could show him his common room which happened to be the ravenclaw common a place that Henry to well where it was since his closest friends were in that house along with the hufflepuff common room. Henry waited a couple of minutes before saying " I can show you, I been there loads of times since most of my friends are in you house," Henry placed his hands in his jean pockets as he spoke to the other two " it was nice to meet you two and your cat's, see you guys later I guess."

Henry then turned on his heel and started his way up to the castle then to the ravenclaw common room for Ellis before either heading to the black lake to think or the slytherin common room as he turn to Ellis and spoke " are you coming mate, the ravenclaw common room isn't that far from here."

Henry has left the thread to show Ellis the ravenclaw common unless prevented
