To Study or Not to Study
@Alan Vanes
There was a smile that was coming out of her peer. Why? Bloom looked at the game and saw that there was going to be a winning streak from him. This was not going to happen, Bloom thought. Bloom, grabbed the stick and made an "X" at the bottom left corner. She felt good to be blocking him.
It wasn't until a moment later that she realized that she still had lost. It was one of those tricky wins where no matter what streak you blocked, the opponent would always win with another streak. Bloom pouted and then laughed, knowing where Alan was going to go next. No wonder he had a smile on his face.
"That's amazing. I think you're the first person I know that wants to work closely with magical creatures. So you basically want to be a Magizoologist?" she asked, clarifying his dream job.
Bloom cleared her throat. She never really thought about what she wanted to be when she got older. She grabbed the stick and made a squiggle near her, thinking. "I-" she paused and shrugged. "I honestly don't know what I want to be nor do I have a vision of a dream job. But I love to hear about other people. Maybe it would then spark an idea," she honestly shared. She did not have the financial means to be just anything. Sometimes people are stuck in the economic status that they are born with. It was rare to move up to a higher status. Bloom didn't expect herself to do just that.
"You're a great tic-tac-toe player," she said, smiling at him. "It's getting late though. Thank you for preventing me from studying. This was a lot of fun," she said, starting to get up from sitting on the ground. "Don't be a stranger," she said, grabbing her books that she had left on the ground and holding onto them in her arms.

To Study or Not to Study
"Basically, yes," he confirmed with a chuckle. It had always been a dream of his. There were so many things that he would like to do one day, he wanted to be there for creatures as well as people no matter what kind. Well, the magical kind of people for the most part. He would make a horrible Muggle, he would have no idea how to properly fake it. He also liked her answer, when he had returned the question to her. It was nice to keep your options open and explore what one liked. "What about hobbies? Is there any activities that you fancy?" There had to be something that she enjoyed doing, right?
He grinned as he placed the last symbol by scratching it into the dirt with the little stick they had been using to play. "Thanks," he replied, "You're not half bad at it yourself". With a nonchalant gesture he would wipe his hand over their playing field to even the ground. It was still somewhat visible but the ground no longer looked like someone had been poking into it with sticks. It was more pretty that way, he presumed. He would get up as well, grabbing his belongings before nodding at the girl. "I'll try my best! You too". With that he would leave the courtyard behind as he headed to his dorm, before making his way to the Great Hall.
Finished.
