Mishaps That Bring Us Here
Interacting with @Katie Palsorette
"We Hufflepuffs ARE pretty great," she smiled to the girl in the bed next to her. "I can't say I know, Siobhán, but your secret is safe with me and I wish you all the best." Love could be the best feeling in the world and the absolute worst.
"I know magical ability plays a factor and all but I just don't get the purebloods and their tedious traditions and their supremacist beliefs. I mean, how can someone truly believe they are better than anyone else? We all have our strengths and we all have our weaknesses."
"My grandmother's just a bitter old woman who hated her life and I guess focusing on us gave her something to do. She was angered at my father for marrying a squib and I think she thought Bella and I might turn out that way too...having the gene and all," she shook her head at the stupidity of it.
"My father kicked her out of our home over the Summer. Haven't seen nor heard from her since which is both good and bad. Makes me wonder if she's just moved on to something else to occupy her time or planning some sort of retaliation. Her and my twin sister got pretty close over the Summer too and I wonder if she's not in communication with Bella through letters while she's at Beauxbatons. I've inquired on several occasions but Bella always seems to avoid the topic. I don't like that. Not at all."

Mishaps That Bring Us Here
Katie sighed in tiredness. It was comforting to here Alina, a second year Hufflepuff, speak; howeber, Katie's own voice had become heavy. She hadn't slept the best last night, and now with the middle of the day drawing near, she felt the weight of not sleeping well the prior night bearing down on her. Her eyelids twitched in protest of being forced to stay open.Interacting with @Alina Rosier
It wasn't like Katie would get any sleep if she slept right now, of course. Her able still shot jerry's if pain up every minute or so, and it was quite annoying. She hoped the nurse or maybe a house elf would come in and help Alina and her soon. They definitely hadn't met under the best of circumstances, but Alina seemed nice, and Katie hoped that later, they could get to know each other better. Just maybe praise the hospital wing that time, like on the grounds our in a private section of the library.
I'm sorry, she said shakily, I have found myself quite tired seeing as I didn't sleep well last night. I'm going to lie back and rest my eyes - maybe fall asleep despite the pain in my ankle. Though I'd be happy to listen to you talk more if you want. If I must be honest, I do enjoy your company quite greatly.

Mishaps That Bring Us Here
Alina smiled, just wanting the girl to feel better. She didn't need to apologize for being tired. "Okay, you rest, and when the head nurse comes out this way, I'll make sure he tends to you first."
"It was nice meeting you, Katie," she said honestly and then pulled her bag onto the bed beside her. She had dozens of things to occupy her in there. A deck of Tarot cards, some shiny stones, a ball, candy, water, paints and a notebook, her journal, a book she had been reading, and a sewing project she was working on.
The other girl didn't need to feel apologetic in the least and she decided on reading and pulled out her book, popping one more lemon drop into her mouth before opening the book and moving her bookmark aside to begin where she had last let off.
She hoped that with the gentle playing of the enchanted guitar in the corner that the girl could get the sleep that she needed and wanted. It was certainly soothing enough to not cause her any disruption with her reading.
Other than tree climbing injuries and sprained ankles, it was a pretty peaceful afternoon there in the Hospital Wing. When a hospital wing elf did come, Alina insisted that they check the other girl first but since she was now in a slumber, they tended to Alina and got her out the door before the girl woke.
