When Alina asked what her father taught, a blush brushed over Sabrina's cheeks, painting them a faint crimson. What should she say? Her father wasn't a professor, rather he was Keeper of the Grounds - it was kind of a bad topic. She didn't want the girl to judge her for her parents, so instead, she ignored the question, and thankfully by the time she decided to do so, the girl who'd introduce herself as Aravis walked into the compartment, and thus the redhead was saved.

"I'm Sabrina. Sabrina Hurst," she introduced herself, then motioned to the blonde girl across the way from her, "and that's Alina." Normally, she wouldn't introduce others, but she would take anything over answering a question that could potentially embarrass her. She knew that her Nana and Baba from her dad's side were ashamed of her father. Would these girls be ashamed of her, too? "I'm not really sure. I'm fine with anything, except maybe Ravenclaw. I am not that smart." She mumbled, scratching at an itch on her nose.

She waited for the others to answer Aravis's question, if they were going to. Then, a girl peeked into the compartment. Surprised at another person coming in to sit with them, Sabrina immediately put her legs down and nodded her head at the curly-haired female. She was pretty, and she was definitely friendship material, as far as it seemed. She looked nice enough, at least. "Hey, Katha. Of course," Sabrina mentioned, her voice soft. She seemed to be the welcoming wagon in the group, inviting those who asked to sit with them, but at this rate the compartment was filling up, and Sabrina would have to shut her mouth soon.

It hadn't been two seconds since the door closed before it opened again, this time a boy's face showing. He, too, had curly hair, and it made Sabrina admire it sort of. She loved curls, and he and Katha both adorned them. A spike of jealousy rose in her stomach, but she was quick to fend it off. There was no way that she would show that envy in front of new people. "O-Of course!" Sabrina stuttered out, looking at the two last seats in the compartment that were basically asking to be occupied. Somehow, the boy's stutter seemed to affect the redhead, and she scrunched up her nose at that fact, swiveling her body so that her legs were facing the front, and she leaned her head back against the cushioned seat.

"We were just speaking about houses. Do you guys know which house you want to be in?" Sabrina inquired, looking between the last two occupants of the compartment. When she first arrived, she expected to be riding solo, but it was obvious that it was not the case. Not that she minded - she'd much rather go into Hogwarts knowing more people than her father and Reid.

Within what seemed like moments, the compartment filled up quickly with the appearance of two more students. A girl named Katha who was seriously pretty and soft-spoken, and a boy with curled hair. Sabrina quickly let them in and introduced both her and Alina to them. Alina waved happily to everyone, and slid over to make room for the new additions.

In the midst of the chatter, Alina noticed that Sabrina never did answer her question, and wondered if that was intentional or accidental. Maybe she would give it a shot later on and see what would happen. She tuned back into the conversations and looked around at the five of them that sat in the compartment. All of a sudden it seemed so full of life and joyful. If she could make friends with all of them, her first couple weeks at Hogwarts would be so much easier with having people to know. Even if they all ended up in different houses.

"We were just speaking about houses. Do you guys know which house you want to be in?" Sabrina asked the three that came in.

Alina raised her hand to speak. "I don't really care which house I get into. Maybe Hufflepuff, that sounds fun!" She exclaimed, adjusting the uniform on her body.

Aravis hadn't quite been paying  attention when the new people came. "Hi I'm Aravis Escanora."  She said it like a whisper with her head down low. Most people recognized her last name. Her family was very well known. Most of the time she was proud of it but now she worried who would know it. She hoped none of them knew the dreadful rumors of her family that were spread on The Daily Prophet. Aravis wasn't normally to fond of people. The more the merrier' the saying went. Ara believed it should be 'The more the Scarier.'

She remained quite for the most part. Both Sabrina and Alina answered but Aravis wasn't sure if the other's were. Her mind wandered to her siblings as it normally did when she was silent. She wondered if they missed her already. They hadn't really left yet but she already missed them. Aravis took a sketchbook out of her luggage and began working on a half unfinished drawing. The drawing was based off an old photograph which she also had beside her. It was a photo of Aravis holding her snake. Ara missed her snake greatly. As she hunched over her drawing strands of her hair fell forward covering the drawing from the others eyes for the most part.

"My dad was in Hufflepuff," Sabrina mused in response to Alina. She hadn't really wanted to be in Hufflepuff herself, but then again she wasn't against it. The house seemed like it would be welcoming from what her father told her about it, and in some ways she could see herself fitting in there. She nestled into her seat further, bringing her legs up to her chest again. The only way she could ever find herself being comfortable was when she was curled up into a ball. She looked over to Aravis, who seemed to be really quiet, "What about you Aravis?"

She wasn't one to let people not join in on the conversation. She included everyone, no matter who they were. Whether she disliked them or not. It was something she learned to do from a young age - she never liked feeling left out, so why should others feel that way? It was simply unneeded. She placed her palms on her knee caps, drawing her legs in closer. She had yet to change into her Hogwarts robes, and would probably do so closer to approaching Hogwarts. Instead, she wore a pair of very stained blue jeans, and a white cotton tee, with her sweater from her muggle school over top. It was a comfort to her to still be attached to home, at least in some ways.

Aravis tilted her head when asked a question. What was she supposed to say? Her whole family had been in Slytherin? She was unsure to answer due to how most people viewed Slytherins. They were often stereotyped but her father and her mother were different from those stereotypes. "Um...well...all of my family has been in Slytherin. My mother, father, aunt and uncle, grandparents, and so on. They want my siblings and I to be in Slytherin as well. I personally think it would be amazing to be in Slytherin if it weren't for all the "pure-blood Slytherin" stereotypes that float around." She said putting her head back down.

For some reason she felt a tad bit out of place with the others. Would they make fun of her for her family? Or would they taunt her about wanting to be in Slytherin? They seemed like really nice people but all of Aravis's biggest insecurities seemed to be coming out of their shadows to devour her self-confidence.

Aravis noticed that Sabrina wasn't wearing her school robes either. Aravis however wore a dress. It had a silver sparkly halter top with black chiffon over silk that formed the skirt. The back was longer than the front however. The back went below her knees while the front of the skirt rested just over her knees. It was gift from her Aunt Myra, of course Myra wasn't her actually Aunt. She was just a close family friend that Aravis called her Aunt.
