Why do you want to join: Lavinia has recently realized how antisocial she is and is trying to get involved in lots of places. She loves to make her point and have the challenge of convincing the other people that it’s the only right option.

Any topics you want to debate about: Freedoms that Hogwarts students have (because there is always so many bad things that go on when they are alone)

Why do you want to join: Leonard already has a penchant for arguments of the academic sort, research being his soulmate and using facts as a weapon being his usual activity during lunch breaks. Along with an determined spirit that loves competition (and more so, winning said competitions, even if debates didn't exactly have winners) beyond life itself, he finds debating a good way to exercise his vocabulary and ability to prove his stance.

Any topics you want to debate about: The nature of muggle activities in relation to their wizarding "equivalents" (ie. baking and potions, that sort of thing), the ethics of love potions, and the amount of trust that should be put in the students by the school, even vice versa.
Notes: Although the club looks brilliant as of now, perhaps once it gets big enough a Discord server could come into existence. Just a suggestion, though, I love this concept!
