Breana nodded as Meenauh slowly grasped upon the smartphone concept. She was elated when the senior asked her about it. She is a Ravenclaw, after all, so informing someone of such technological wonders is such a treat for the tan-skinned girl. "Yep! Hence the, er... smart part." She grinned. Okay, maybe the name of the device does not have many metaphorical nuances to note, but at least it's easy to explain.

The minute Meenauh mentioned charging, Breana couldn't help but beam as they move onto the concept of electricity. "Oh!" She exclaimed. "You mean electricity and all that? Yeah, most smartphones do have that. It's definitely smaller than a computer's charger, for sure... Though, well actually, smartphones are just more compact computers, innit?" She said, mostly asking the last one to herself. "I mean, if I think about it, smartphones don't have keyboards, that's the only difference-- well, there's also the touchscreen of the smartphone, but still..." Breana then blinked for a moment, shaking her head as she focused back to the Gryffindor. "Ah! Sorry, sorry... I was rambling on... but yeah, smartphones have chargers." She chuckled sheepishly.

The little girl then pursed her lips as the luxury of the smartphone came up into the conversation. "Hmm... I mean, it's technically a luxury..." She started, scratching her head. "But a lotta people have it... Kind of like owning a broom, I suppose?" Her face then lit up as she found a decent enough counterpart to compare the device to. "Actually, yeah, it is quite like a broom! There's different models and all that... So yeah!!"

The girl went into details of how the phones worked and the computers worked. So it was a phone that is a computer. Or a computer that also worked as a phone... Why having one thing for both talking and computing when you could have two things with a single use each— Meenauh didn't know. Muggles seemed to try fitting as much as possible into something small. Poor things.

The muggle tech terms filled the air again. While she knew there were things like keyboards because she researched and was surprised they turned typewriters into electric things made from the evil plastic. But it was only a logical step of technical evolution anyway. The touchscreen, though, was still a secret for her and she didn't have enough capacity to understand it just yet. Poor thing.

The whole conversation was sounding like a monologue of Breana and Meenauh just listened and nodded trying to remember or at least understand. The luxury part made her shake her head and widen her eyes. So a smartphone was a luxury, but a lot of people had it. Like a broom.

"How many people in your circle have their own brooms?" a voice asked.
"She doesn't have quite a circle, you know?" the other tried to counter.
"But still a broom is sort of a luxury," the inner dialogue continued.

"Okay," Meenauh shortly dropped as Breana finished on the note about the multiple models of smartphones comparing them to brooms, "Okay, I got you."

The dusk was falling slowly on their shoulders and a subtle jolt of wind hit Meenauh's face. She turned towards the sunset and watched it for a few moments before continuing.

"We need to get back to the camp," she said, "I will accompany you if you don't mind," she added in her prefect tone and gestured towards the direction of the camp, "By the way, you didn't get into many details, but how well do you know Pericles?"

The girl was an interesting bubble of cuteness, but how come Pericles didn't mention her if they were friends. What did the girl hide?

As Meenauh reassured the spirited young girl after she explains the wonders of the smartphone, Breana couldn't help but let out a soft self-deprecating chuckle. "Ah, b-but yeah..." She said awkwardly. Breana hoped that she didn't make it too confusing, or made Meenauh's expectations for the little gadget too high. She then followed the senior's gaze, also realizing that time has passed quite quickly, the sky already painted by the beautiful gleam of the purple and pink rays of the sun. The comfort of a refreshing breeze past by the duo, making Breana close her eyes and let out a small sigh. She rarely misses anything from the outside, but this was a lovely reminder to tell her what Hogwarts couldn't provide all the time.

Thankfully, the prefect also gave the freckled child a gentle reminder as well. "Oh, right! Almost nighttime, and dinner's probably being served soon..." She nodded, walking alongside the Gryffindor. Unfortunately for her hopeless romantic heart, the mention of her friend Pericles came to light between the two. "P-peri? Oh, uh.." She stammered at first. "I mean, we're classmates and all that... We've hung out before through errands... W-why do you ask?" She said. She couldn't help but start overthinking again. Is it because he talked about her before? Has he talked about her before? Did he say anything about her? Is it good? Is it bad? Such thoughts started coming at her a mile a minute, making her look almost in a daze.

Peri? Wow, that was unexpected. Yes, they were from the same house, but how much time did they spend together? What Pericles was hiding? Peri was a much deeper level of a name that Meenauh ever expected. She couldn't hide the surprise as her head would shake once and her brows go up. Classmates, right. Through errands. Sounds legit. Maybe it was a common thing for Ravenclaws to call each other by shortened names.

"How do other Ravenclaws call you?" she would ask in response to her question, which was not the answer Breana was expecting to hear. Well, she must have expected an answer, not another question.

She'd toss her lack of conversational manners away quickly and try to reparo the situation: "Sorry, why do I ask? Uhm, out of curiosity, as Pericles is a friend of mine and I literally never heard him mentioning you," she would provide the answer and shrug at the last words.

"Last time we met, on his birthday, there were a few more people I didn't know as well, so maybe Pericles just has many more friends than I thought. I'm just curious why he doesn't talk about them," she would elaborate a bit without an exact reason.

They came closer to their tents and Meenauh would look around at the brightened area as the dusk had already covered the surroundings. She rubbed her forehead with her wrist.

"Okay, it was nice meeting you, Breana. I guess we'll see each other at dinner? See you later then" she'd tell the girl a short goodbye before emerging into the depth of her tent's curtains with a smile.
